After attending a funeral, my family and I boarded a JetBlue flight from Westchester to Fort Lauderdale. The flight attendants announced we were free to move to empty seats since the plane wasn’t full. While we were delayed at the gate for mechanical reasons, I moved to an empty row — only to be confronted by a gate attendant who was on board negatively gossiping about her job with another lady. Despite the crew’s earlier announcement, the gate attendant said to me “I saw you switch seats and I’m notifying the crew.” Of course I’m confused but what confused me even more was that she said nothing to the Caucasian gentleman I was initially sharing a row with, even though he moved before I did. My family has always taught not to “play the race card” no matter the circumstances — we observe and keep it moving — but situations like this don’t go unnoticed. Already grieving, this interaction added insult to injury. No apology was ever offered, and the flight eventually left three hours late. I’ve always had positive experiences with JetBlue, but it only takes one employee’s attitude to leave a lasting negative impression. Very disappointing.

Rudest and least professional people in the airline business RUDEST staff up in the "friendly skies" is 100% in my mind @ JETBLUE. WORST flight experience I have ever had!! What a displeasure. I will never use Jet Blue again due to their customer service and way of handling issues. If I could give them a 0 for the flight from White Plains to Ft. Lauderdale (1913). Rudest stewardess I have encountered. Once with Jet blue was enough. Spend the extra couple $ and go with a different airline.

Our flight was booked on a JetBlue flight to Orlando scheduled at 5pm. This morning we woke up to an email that informed us it was delayed until 1:20 a.m. the next morning (8 hours late). They knew at 8am the 5pm flight would be delayed, but couldn't get an airplane to HPN until 1:20am the next calendar day? Update: The 5pm flight is now delayed until 2:30 am. Needless to say, the kids have had enough. JetBlue is the new Delta. On a related note, Westchester Airport is waaaaaaay beyond capacity with people standing for hours and hours.

2 hours before your flight... Security point and terminal crowd it... lots of travelers.

We are currently at the airport (westchester) since 6:30pm waiting for our JetBlue flight (B6 613) to depart. We were notified of a delay in which we called and were instructed to report to the airport as if our flight was leaving on time (originally 8pm). We were notified of a $100 credit since our flight was delayed at-least 3 hours. After multiple delays our flight is now scheduled for a 4am take off due to the crew not wanting to return from palm beach airport. Currently we have been sitting on hard metal chairs with limited food and beverage options. I’ve spoken to several employees but have yet to speak with a manager. The employees who have spoken with the manager over the phone have said that he will not do anything further for the customers waiting. We deserve more than a credit for waiting here all this time.
