Despite occasional delays, many loyal passengers appreciate their transparency and commitment to getting passengers to their destinations.

    Been flying Southwest since I was a freshman in Texas Tech University. My daughter flew to visit my Mom as a tot. Glad they weren't in the DC crash.... Praying for the family of that casualty

    Few months ago, I had perhaps the worst flight experience and had received the worst customer service in the USA both with the Southwest Airlines while traveling back to Lubbock from Washington DC via Dallas. I had a return flight from Washington DC (DCA) to Dallas (Love) which was delayed twice before cancelled at late evening of 10th of August because of inclement weather (as I heard so). Hence, they offered me a return flight on the afternoon of 12th August (almost 48 hours later). I didn’t want to stay that long so I asked them for a return ticket on the 11th of August the next day, but they couldn’t able to as they said they had no scheduled flight on the 11th. Moreover, they also refused to consider my request when I asked them for compensation for my extended stay. I had to stay those two extra nights and had to spend more than $400 for my accommodation and food consumption in DC. More agonizingly, when I asked for help and cooperation to Southwest’s airport transport agent and associated staff in DCA after flight cancellation, I hardly found them cooperative rather found them disturbed, dispassionate, and disinterested to solve any of my issues. They declined all my requests and offered me literally zero service. It was tiring, frustrating, expensive, and painfully stressful experience for me and all that happened because of Southwest’s insufficient flight scheduling and more importantly because of their in-amicable/hostile staff and their incompetent service offerings. #southwest

    While on a flight to Las Vegas my partner fell ill on the flight and the plane had to make an emergency landing and we landed in Lubbock , Texas and I thank God we landed in Lubbock. From the staff getting her off the plane, the ambulance ride, the hospital staff, everyone was so amazing. It didn’t stop there, the Southwest airline team called and checked on us. Once they learned that my partner would be released from the hospital they arranged a hotel stay, food vouchers, and rescheduled our flight. Talk about life savers! I want to thank Mr. Dennis, Bruno, and every Southwest team member from the bottom of my heart for everything they did for us. I pray they are blessed beyond measures because what started out as a nightmare ended up as a blessing thanks to these awesome and amazing people. Thank you all and I’ll never be able to say thank you enough!

    Every flight that I have been on with Southwest has been a poor experience. From very cramped seating to flight attendants with attitude problems, I really don't know why I pay for this. Looks like its time to go to Delta, or maybe drive, or walking would even be better.
