I had an early morning flight out of SW to RDU. The situation - the vehicle pathway is opposite side of the drop off for accessible access- - so my family member had to get out the vehicle and find someone- which was done timely. The curb side seemed to be for passengers that can walk or travel frequently. The airport inside was full of passengers- the security line was very slow. There were several agents sitting processing the security part but only person was managing the items going through the scanning process. There were other scanning lines but no team members. The luggage was painstakingly processed. I’m appreciative of the team members that helped me down from the scanner & found my chair. The team member then pushed me to my gate. There were several ladies in chairs at the gate. The team member announcing kept us up to date with flight information- majority of the ladies were able to walk the concourse with a cane - not accessing the chairs but the team announcer cheerfully pushed me to the door of the plane. I had a small full backpack & a tote for my personal item that fit under the seat in front of me. The flight attendants were on point - clear instructions & were able to pass snacks and drinks on a short flight. The 747 plane looked new & fresh inside - the arrival was on time. No problems during the flight. Chairs were waiting. I enjoyed my flight except for the situation with the accessibility factor. Look forward to flying SW in the near future

I had the best experience with Southwest Airlines in Baltimore and Dallas. As soon as I arrived, I was helped with checking in, and the gentleman checking me in told me about a bag I could buy because my suitcase was overweight. He was patient while I switched out some of my clothes. The flight attendants were great. I just had an enjoyable experience, and flying with Southwest Airlines is the best way to fly.✈️ P.S. My bags came out fairly quickly; there was not a long wait time.

Love flying this airline I've been a southwest award member for 7yrs. I'm a chase member and capital credit card holder as well. Southwest used to be better than all the other airlines. Because of their no baggage charge fee. Recently, they've went to a charging fee for checked bags. The amount can range from $35 to $80 for 3 bags. I checked 3 bags this pass weekend. I only did this process to avoid carrying bags through the airport. When I reached my gate and was prepared to board, the service desk announced the plane was at full capacity and would run out of head storage space and they were looking for 12 people to voluntarily check their bags for free to avoid running out of overhead space. After I heard that, I was very upset because I paid $80. When I could had my bag's taken and check for free. Since Southwest has went to this check bag fee process It's looks to be a scam. Why would this airline want you to pre-check and pay for your luggage if they're willing to take 12+ individuals bags to save overhead space for free. I think this new service is bullshit and they should go back to free baggage and that would eliminate the issue of losing overhead space on the plane. This incident happened 5 times flying from Bradley airport in connecticut to Baltimore. Then from Baltimore to Virginia, this announcement happened 5 times from Southwest willing to take individual bags. Prior to boarding for free. Go back to the old policy and keep your new and long term costumers. Southwest, "DON'T GO SOUTH" trying to keep up with the jones!

I finally had my first flight experience. It was a blast. This marks the beginning of many more flights to come. Baltimore to Chicago for a day ridiculously well spent 😍

I’ve been using this airline for a long time, and it’s never a terrible experience. This is the largest airline here at Baltimore-Washington Airport. Don’t worry about extra payments except if you’re getting alcohol on board. My flight today was from this airport to Tampa at 8 PM. Even though we were the in the last boarding group, we still got a decent seat for a full flight. The WiFi only works for some devices, and the free snack mix is pretty good. The service was friendly throughout the flight. Overall, would recommend.

While I’m not a fan of some of Southwest’s recent changes, their customer service is what keeps me coming back, and Lanor at BWI is the perfect example of why. After a long and really tough day, I found out my bag didn’t make it to my destination (BWI). This all happened around midnight, and I went to the baggage service office expecting a headache. Instead, Lanor greeted me with a smile, listened, and made everything so easy. She treated me with kindness and empathy, and gave me all the info I needed in a clear, warm, and timely manner. She even somehow managed to make me laugh! In a time when great customer service is becoming increasingly rare, I had to take a moment to recognize Lanor’s exemplary care. People like her are why I continue to fly with Southwest.
