Such a unique and unforgettable experience! The Airplane Home is truly a top spot — a full Boeing 727 tucked into the Oregon woods. Bruce, the host, is incredibly welcoming and makes you feel right at home. Exploring the cockpit, walking along the wing, and just soaking in the creativity of the place was amazing. It’s also a fantastic location for drone shots — the mix of forest scenery and airplane architecture makes for stunning footage. Definitely one of the most creative and fun visits I’ve had in Oregon. Highly recommend to anyone looking for something out of the ordinary!

Bruce is the nicest guy you’ll meet, he was very into the tour of his home, he has energy to him. Everything was really cool, besides I would say his neighbors. I feel like they’re taking advantage of his kindness. I hope it isn’t the case. Anyways, the road up isn’t as intimidating as stated in reviews or even on Bruce’s own website. At least that’s the case when it hasn’t rained. If it has rained, I don’t think I’d attempt it. All in all, I hope to see Bruce again one day.

I grew up not far from Hillsboro and never knew of this gem. Visiting the area I ran across the listing for the Airplane Home. First off, the driveway is not designed for large vehicles, which I found out since I was driving a rented '24 Ford Expedition (not small by any means). Getting out was harder than getting in. You literally have to drive between a few trees. The mirrors just made it between. Secondly, be sure to get a little run going on the way up. The driveway is fairly steep, and single lane. Use caution when ascending and descending. Once you reach the top, plenty of parking space available. To view the inside, use the stairway aft of the right wing tip and walk along the wing to the side hatch. There, Bruce, the owner will greet you with a smile and instructions for entering. Once inside, be prepared for a great informational and humorous tour. Wish I would of found this place years ago. Highly recommend checking out the Airplane Home if you're looking for a day trip.

Our experience was INCREDIBLE! We passed by my husband’s birthday, it was definitely a unique experience, Mr. Bruce is a extraordinary person!

This was an awesome experience! We weren't going to go inside because I didn't want to bother Bruce, but he either heard us or saw us and welcomed us in! Bruce is a super great guy, and his airplane home is just as amazing! Read up on his rules and expectations on his website before you go. This is a must for both kids and adults!
