Walking up to the desk, the 2 people behind it looked miserable and u happy. Despite my cheery attitude they had no interest in helping me and anything I said was met with short replies like I was bothering them. The agent then went on to argue with me that my flight was leaving at 3:01 and I had no idea what I was talking about and that I should look at boards and not the app on my phone. I mentioned the gate agent just announced it was 330 and she still insisted I was clueless. I walked away and went to the nearest board, oh look the board says 330 too! Delta I’m not sure why you have this “help desk” waste of time and money. And all it does is make unhappy customers. Are you not paying them enough to smile and treat people kindly?

My stepmother was going to her sister’s funeral October 18th in Detroit and was to meet other family members. She had flown in earlier and was lost, confused and very sad. She had the good fortune to meet the red coat Jamal Turner. He assisted her in the nicest, kindest, most empathetic way anyone could have done . His extraordinary customer service took care of my stepmom . I personally can’t thank him enough. Jamal should be an inspiration to all in the customer service industry. He is the quintessential customer service agent. Thank you. Below is a copy of a letter my stepmother sent. My delta connection experience on Saturday October 18 2025 was truly memorable . Flying from Montreal to Detroit ,I was having trouble with my phone (I’m an 80 year old Canadian always having problems with my phone) I stopped at a Delta counter and asked a young gentleman for help. I told him I was in Detroit for my sister’s funeral and I suddenly burst out crying .His first reaction was “you need a hug” then he left a message with my nephew. Then he put me on the ALAMO SHUTTLE where I was meeting the rest of my family flying in from Boston . Jamal DTW RED COAT recognized how upset I was and was incredibly kind and compassionate . I know this is a very long sad story. and I insisted he give me an e-mail so I could write to you I was so touched to be treated so beautifully and I LOVE DELTA AIRLINES and especially employees like JAMAL.K.TURNER

Absolutely pathetic service. Flight delayed over 2 hours due to Delta issues that were not weather related causing me to miss a connection. Landed 5 minutes before connection took off but wouldn’t hold plane while I got off plane to make 5 minute walk to other terminal. Rebooked me on a different flight. Tried to call Delta but 3 hour wait. I never fly Delta again if I can avoid it. Airline industry treats people so poorly.

There is nothing like having your Delta flight delayed on the taxiway waiting 20 mins for another Delta flight to push away from the gate your plane is waiting for. ( Your connection also Delta leaves in 19 mins) So your told they know you're coming, so you run with two under 5 kids for two concourses to find the plane gone and "nothing can be done". Well, thanks, Delta. The fountain looks great at 10pm

The food and services during our flight was horrible we ask for a special meal for my daughter 1 year old they didn’t give us anything also for a crib so that’s the last time I’m traveling with delta
