Worst experience at an airport that I have ever had. We got to the airport, printed our boarding passes and then waited in line probably 30 minutes to check our baggage. There were only 4 people working standard baggage and while 3 were working the priority lane. By the time we got to the desk, the man at the desk said they were no longer accepting bags for our flight and claimed that someone had called for our flight to go to a different line to check bags. Neither my boyfriend or I ever heard anyone say anything about our flight. Our flight still had 40 minutes until take off too. But they said we couldn't and now we will be at the airport for the next 6 hours with no baggage or rental car. We have cats we need to get home to. There was absolutely no consideration for us or the situation. A situation that they caused. We will not be flying Delta again.

Ridiculous. I will miss my appointment. The pilot just didn’t show up. Worst service ever.

This is for their standby services. I like Delta but this is my first time flying standby and it’s absolutely horrible!!! They will take your money and hang you out to dry. I’ve been on standby for three days and this company have no concern. I’ve spoken to numerous attendants/supervisors and they all lied and told me a flight was available each time I called, but you’ll really get the truth from the boarding counter attendant. If your in standby you will be bumped for their employees and whoever else they choose to bump you for. There is no regard no matter how long or how many days you’ve been waiting and all expenses for hotel and travel while your stuck is yours. You can get a refund if you have to book a different flight but it’s only a partial refund. Very crooked.

If I can give a zero star I surely would!! My Flight was changed four times due to a tropical storm.......I checked the flight tracker and no other airline canceled and rescheduled due to the storm so often like delta.When I wanted to Call them I was waiting 2 hrs to get through to a Delta Rep. that’s ridiculous! And I’m a sky mile member! The response I got from them every time I called was “I’m sorry”..... sorry doesn’t really help if they don’t want to lose more sky mile members and customers they better shape up.....You should be ashamed that this is how Big delta goes about things. Staying a day and a half longer costed me a lot of money.... I expected more from such a big airline!

I know it's not the most common, but I actually had an incredible experience with Delta at FLL. We booked our tickets together, and chose seats accordingly, but our flight out of Miami got delayed the night before we were supposed to leave. Delta's customer service line was able to get us out of FLL in time for our connecting flight in JFK, but they couldn't get seats close together. They told us to ask Delta at the airport and that they could try to help. I told the customer service person and when another customer service person came by and asked him why he was going so out of his way and that unfortunately nothing could be done for us, that we should just ask people if we could switch once we board, he told her that it was the right thing to do and that it was too much of a gamble to ask people to do the right thing. He was able to get us seats together, and even though that flight got delayed twice and we were cutting it WAY too close, I was still very grateful for that customer service rep.
