    We recently experience a 12-hour Odessey trying to fly from Orlando to Memphis due to a variety of factors. We were initially delayed due to the weather, and while Delta does not control the weather, it does control how well it communicates with its patrons. We received limited updates on the situation, and frequently, those were contradictory. The situation further deteriorated when we boarded our fight only to find that there was a mechanical problem which was only announced after a lengthy delay. There were again contradictory statements and increased frustration after sitting in a sweltering aircraft and being asked to deplane. This did raise the question of why after having the aircraft sit unattended for over 2 hours no one had thought to inspect it during that time to ensure its readiness and limit further impediment. Finally, once we had been evicted from our scheduled flight, there was an appalling lack of assistance. Regrettably, I have experienced previously in my travels with Delta airline; that when something goes wrong, there are an excess of stranded customers and pitifully few Delta employees to provide assistance. While pronouncements funnel the forsaken to utilize the Delta online application, it is sorely lacking in its ability to provide accurate information or a workable solution. We were after lengthy delays able to speak with someone by phone, but this too, produced haphazard results. In speaking with four different agents, only one appeared to have the competence to assist us properly; the others failed to direct us to a reasonable alternative or get us adequately scheduled. I am quite frankly astonished that we made it home at all, and that were able to retrieve our luggage with only limited hindrance. The situation was nightmarish and only enhanced by the poor communication and lack of qualified assistance available to us. When asked to recommend Delta Airlines to someone, I could only say that when things are going well, you'll be fine; however, if there is a problem then like the sign at the entrance of Hades in Dante's Inferno " Abandon all hope, ye who enter here".

    Wow I have absolutely no idea why this airline is so popular it must be the way in which they treat us. The service is impeccable. Snacks on deck and a very pleasant team

    The staff treatment was very bad and disrespectful, it was as if they had not received training on how to deal with customers, especially Delta. The last time I went to califonia when I checked in the woman was treating me badly and she was calling people disrespectfully and when I went to check in they also did not treat people respectfully and the woman who was checking the bags she was yelling to the man because he had toothpaste. You can speak respectfully and give him respectful options.

    Save your money, save your time, never fly with Delta, they are not responsible for anything, and they makes you wait and wait and wait, then they cancel the flight…

    Such amazing service and a great flight experience I would always find out that and will always be a sky miles member thank you for such great service and such a wonderful staff every plane I have flown on through Delta as an amazing crew aboard and I've never had any difficulties in or out of the airport or airplanes.. keep up the great work
