    Deeply Disappointed and Humiliated by Delta Airlines On October 28, 2025, I was flying Delta from San Diego to Boston after a work conference. My flight was delayed overnight, and when I asked for help, Delta staff denied me boarding on an alternate flight through Atlanta even though seats were available and my hospital’s travel agency confirmed I should have been accommodated. Two Delta employees began rebooking me, then suddenly refused to continue because I had booked through a travel agency (as required by my job…). They closed the boarding door in my face after letting every other Boston passenger board, leaving me alone, crying, and stranded at the gate. This especially sucked because my boyfriend was on the Atlanta flight. When I requested hotel assistance, I was told Delta doesn’t provide one because it was “weather related,” even though my coworkers flying Alaska Airlines from the same airport left without issue. My travel agency said Delta handled this completely wrong. I spent the entire night stranded in an empty terminal, waiting in baggage claim until TSA reopened at around 4:15 AM. I finally got rebooked through Minneapolis and arrived in Boston 12+ hours late, exhausted and humiliated, and missed work the next day. To make matters worse, I was charged a fee by the travel agency for taking the earlier flight to Minneapolis since Delta failed to handle the situation correctly. This was one of the most isolating and distressing travel experiences I’ve ever had. I was treated without compassion or accountability. I’ve filed a formal complaint and expect Delta to take responsibility. Please choose any other airline if you value kindness, accountability, and basic human decency.

    Exceptional Service from Deborah at Check-In I want to take a moment to recognize and thank Deborah for her outstanding service today. When I arrived at the airport, I was having issues checking my bags online through both the app and my laptop. I approached the “Agent Assist” desk and explained the situation, including that two kiosks were not working and I was having trouble paying with SkyMiles. The first agent told me bluntly, “We can’t help with that, use the kiosk.” When I explained again that the kiosk wasn’t working, I was told to “chat with Delta online.” I tried that without success. I then called Delta and was told the hold time was 18 minutes—which was cutting it very close to my 40-minute boarding window. When I finally spoke to someone on the phone, I was told I might have to rebook and that I should speak with an agent at the airport. At that point, I was almost in tears. I returned to the desk one last time—and that’s when I met Deborah. She was calm, pleasant, and incredibly helpful. She asked for my name, looked up my account, and immediately saw that my bags were there and I just needed to check in. It turns out the issue was something simple that could have been solved much earlier if any of the previous agents had taken a moment to look up my information. Thanks to Deborah’s kindness and efficiency, I made my flight on time and with far less stress. I’m so grateful for her support. She truly went above and beyond when no one else would. Thank you, Deborah. Your calmness in the middle of my stress made all the difference.

    My flight was smooth and on time. Got the usual snack and beverage. The seat in the main area was comfortable, not too tight.

    Worst service ever, minimizing the damage at my luggage just because “it is normal to happen”. Not even close to really take a look at my baggage, it was NEW and literally I can see through it

    The terminal 4 in New York jfk is big it takes a round 15 mins to reach baggage areas in other said there alot of restaurant

    I’ve traveled with a number of different US Airlines and find Delta to be the most suitable for me. They always treat me as a valued customer. A couple years back I was with Delta in Atlanta during perhaps their worst service moment when a computer glitch grounded them for hours. Delta treated me extremely well through the entire ordeal and made things right without me even having to ask. They are reliably on time. I trust Delta for all my travel needs.
