This is the typical small airport, a grade higher than a municipal airport, as it offers the larger, national airlines. It’s a very small, quaint airport with the rental car counters in the arrivals area mixed with the baggage carousel. Of all the small airports I’ve been to in the past few years, all have been undergoing constant construction, but this one seems to have recently been updated. The nice thing about this airport is being so close to Sonoma and Napa without having to fly into SFO, which is horrible and is a pain to get to this area from. So, I’ll continue to use STS.

What all small airports should be - easy parking, short walks, short lines, basic amenities. Car Rentals are right there - no need for shuttle.

I’m hesitant to review this airport because I love it so much and don’t want to see it any busier than it has already become. Such an easy in and out using this airport for travel to Portland or Los Angeles or Las Vegas, virtually no wait in lines and always a pleasure to use Alaska air. Could not be more pleased with my many visits to the Sonoma county airport including the restaurant that is quite good

I keep coming back even though I live further from here than OAK or SFO. The ease and service is the main reason. Showing up 5 minutes before boarding time is valuable. The wine bar is steps from my gate. I'm almost reluctant to give this airport a stellar rating because I don't want it to get crowded 😅

Fast and efficient, well staffed security. Easy parking. Nice restrooms. Ample seating at the gate with charging stations at almost every seat. This is a smaller airport and currently under construction, but well maintained and staffed. I look forward to visiting when construction is complete, and I hope Alaska adds a direct flight to Boise from this airport! Construction is done!! Airport is looking nice and new, front entrance is fully operational. Airport was crowded today, so glad I had an hour for security. Easy security process. Happy to have access to this Airport in Sonoma County!
