A great ode to the main man with live jazz in the airport plaza. Great spot this place, particularly good for catching planes but also arouses questions over where the MSY IATA code comes from. Well it was named after aviator John Moisant, who died in a crash at the airport's location, and the code is derived from the former Moisant Stock Yards. You can spot some great planes. I mainly saw the usuals, no surprise B747s. I would recommend visiting this location if you are in New Orleans and you are looking to travel somewhere else via air travel. I would not recommend visiting for the plethora of restaurants and shops (of which there are many) alone. On the way to the US they detained me. I thought this may be due to my declaration of succulent French haribo, or my tentative answer to whether or not I had radioactive substances with me, or inappropriate comments Iโd made on a social media account somewhere about Donald, but I did not get to the bottom of this. I think due to my prompt release it was likely a random search. Star detracted for this reason.

This medium-sized airport, with a single terminal, is relatively new and easy to navigate. The only inconvenience is the car rental, located at the old airport. **Tip:** Allow an extra 30+ minutes for car rentals. This allows extra time for the complimentary bus ride between pick up and drop off. Overall, it's a pleasant airport with quick, hassle-free processes. TSA PreCheck is available, and Clear with TSA PreCheck makes it even faster.

One of the top favorite airports (BEST TOP 5) I've ever visited or flew out of. Our flight boarded at around 3 AM โso many of the shops and restaurants were closed!!! watersports , arrcadalready but they have luxury stores, world class restaurants and shopping and entertainment. Don't let yourself get bamboozled!๐๐ค๐จ๐๐ฅฑ ๐ค๐ง๐ฎโ๐จ๐๐ฒ๐ณ๐คฏ๐คฏ๐ด๐ซฉ๐

I have been to many states but this is the best airport I have ever been to. Very spacious, modern and there's no long lines for anything compared to other airports. My favorite airport so far. Also the bathrooms are so clean, very modern and has technology I have never seen in other airports.

Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport is modern and bright, with big windows and some great local food options. Itโs easy to get around, bathrooms are clean, security can be quick, though lines sometimes get long. Downsides: there arenโt enough seats near the gates but I still love it. Itโs a big upgrade from the old terminal and mostly stress-free for travelers.

Honestly, one of the easiest airports Iโve ever navigated. Louis Armstrong New Orleans International is super clean, well-organized, and everything just makes sense from baggage claim to security. Signs are clear, staff is helpful, and it doesnโt feel overwhelming like a lot of other airports. Getting an Uber was also a breeze. The pickup area is easy to find, and the process was smooth with barely any wait time. It made arriving in New Orleans stress-free, which is exactly what you want after a flight. Definitely a five-star experience!

Surprisingly modern and super easy to navigate. Security lines move fast, signage is clear, and the concourses are clean and well laid out. Plenty of food and drink options that actually reflect the city โ you can grab a beignet or poโboy before your flight. Rideshare pickup is simple, parking is straightforward, and the terminal feels more like a new airport than a retrofit. For a city known for chaos, this place is shockingly smooth.
