Avelo Airlines has been a complete disappointment on both ends of my trip. My first flight was scheduled for 8:00 AM, but it was delayed until 1:40 PM — nearly 6 hours of delay with barely any communication from the airline. No apology, no clear reason, and no compensation. Now, on my way back, my return flight was supposed to leave at 11:30 AM, and it’s been delayed until 6:50 PM — another delay of more than 7 hours. That’s a total of over 13 hours of my time completely wasted by this airline. Both delays have caused major disruption to my schedule, and Avelo’s staff has done very little to make it right. I booked Avelo thinking it would be a budget-friendly option, but I’ve ended up paying for it in lost time, stress, and frustration. I will absolutely not be flying with Avelo again, and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone who values reliability or basic customer service.

The first issue I have was that the HAVC system was not working properly. The cabin was hot and humid during the boarding process, and not much difference during the flight. My second has to do with the baggage handling, which to be fear isn't Avelo, yet has a direct impact on Avelo.

I would give zero stars if possible. If you look at my other reviews, you’ll see that I NEVER give negative reviews. The endless delays and lack of communication are one reason. However, Flight attendant “Simone“ from FLL to New Haven on Feb 4, is the main reason for this uncharacteristic negative review. I’m not sure if she is a ‘bad Apple”, or if this is a systemic cultural issue. Regardless, I will never fly Avelo again. I will never fly Avelo again. EVER. STAY AWAY. I’ve flown all over the country for years, and we chose Avelo for nonstop service to New Haven. Not worth it! I’d rather fly to Hartford or Boston than take this “airline”. Avelo makes Spirit look like Qatar airways. (& if you’ve flown Spirit, imagine WAY worse) I won’t bore you with the details; but stay away.

Was a little late arriving but what's not? I hope I'm not jumping the gun. Flew from phf to fll. Quick, clean, convenient and good stewardesses. I wish they flew more places from here. Great for a long weekend. Good job guys!

Paid for priority but there’s no priority line so you get stuck with all of the non priority people. The person at the desk is wildly rude. Don’t bother with this airline.

The Airport is new I think, and it is in Concord, NC not Charlotte, NC. This is where I departed from. Everything was wonderful, from booking to check-in, to flight leaving on time arriving on time. I would definitely fly with Avelo Airlines again...highly recommend.
