Service is HORRIBLE! Without warning, they removed my TSA pre-making me almost miss my flight. I tried to call customer service 35 minute wait, which is pretty typical. They’re oversell and understaffing. And the people most of them are rude because they’re probably sick of frustrated customer. Plus a nickel and dime so you end up spending more on these flights and then you would for a major airline. So much for a small airline feel. I’ll be choosing Breeze for my next flight.

Avelo Airlines is a small airline, I was travelling from Raleigh, North Carolina to West Palm Beach, Florida. I was hesitant about using Avelo Airlines as the reviews are mostly negative, I was having second thoughts but because Avelo is the airline to fly direct I thought give it a go. My resultant trip was flawless, my outward trip from check in where the attendants are helpful and concise, though to the flight lading there were no issues, the plane is clean , good legroom, comfortable seating, the flight attendants are friendly and accommodating, there is no flight snacks, this is a low cost airline, the flight duration was 1 hour 30 minutes, so comfortable I was asleep most of the time, this was mirrored on my return trip. Reviews I know is subjective, but for me Avelo is getting bad press, on my experience I give Avelo Airlines a 5 star review and I would definitely use again, the biggest bonus is the LOW COST PRICE

To start, we waited over 5 hours to get through TSA. It was unorganized and the staff was not kind when we asked questions. Only few flyers got a text to tell them to get to the airport earlier than usual. Our flight was delayed over 2 hours. On our way back to CT, the flight was also delayed almost 2 hours. We arrived back at tweed and was told that our checked bags were left at our departing destination. We were not informed of this before waiting 20 minutes to receive our bags. This air line does not treat their costumers well at all. I highly do not recommend and I will never be using this airline again. Not worth the cheap flight or convenience (because it has proven to be very inconvenient)

Flying Avelo is like a lottery. Only the people whose tickets actually win them a flight win. Everyone else is told in an email, sorry you lose. Find another way home. We have recieved all kinds of emails saying we apologize, we are sorry and so on. But no help or communication as to how we can help get you home after we drop the ball and no compensation to cover more expenses from getting stranded far from home. Also no help in rebooting if you even wanted to. Just told to get your bag and move along. Do yourself a favor and don't buy a ticket. It is not cheaper than a mainstream airline who at least can offer other flights home in a reasonable time period if there is an issue. Cheaper is not better. But if you like playing it fast and loose and have money and time to waste then go ahead and take your chances

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE experience & will never fly this airline again. After being stuck in traffic on the way to the airport for over an hour I was told I missed my flight 45 minutes before the doors closed for boarding. I was flying out of New Haven, CT the smallest airport I had ever been to. W/O allowing me to attempt to make the gate I was then prompted to rebook for the flight out the next day. I was charged an additional $260 for the rebooking. Took me 10 minutes max to make it through TSA the next day. After speaking with customer service via email and over the phone to try and recoup the $260, the best answer I received was I should arrive to the airport 2 hours before my flight. "It's their policy to charge for a rebooking." No answer as to why I was not allowed to make the gate before my initial flight & take off. Its my fault I was stuck in traffic & my fault I was not allowed to attempt making my gate before doors closed.

Takes time getting used to no food anywhere. Not even a vending machine. I enjoyed the simplicity of boarding and having a book to read instead of the screen in front of you. I am glad this helps me to relax and ponder about life.
