    I had an extremely disappointing experience with Avelo Airlines. I booked a flight and had to cancel it within 10 minutes due to an urgent change in plans. I immediately contacted Avelo to request a full refund, assuming they would honor the standard 24-hour cancellation policy that virtually every other airline offers. The directed me to send an email, which I had done. Over two weeks later, I finally received a response denying my request for a full refund. They only refunded half of my ticket. Keep in mind - every other airline offers a 24-hour full cancellation policy. When I called to follow up, the phone rep told me they couldn’t help and repeated that I had to email customer service. So, I was given the runaround just to be told no after weeks of waiting. The dollar amount wasn’t even significant—it’s the principle and the complete disregard for customer care that makes this experience so frustrating. This airline clearly does not value its customers or abide by common practices in the industry. I will never book with Avelo again, and I highly recommend others avoid them as well. If they can’t handle a basic refund request professionally, imagine how they'd treat a real issue.

    Smooth flight, the pilot was amazing . Smooth sailing, window seat, helpful people on flight. 10/10 recommend. The only thing I would suggest is having a food cart come through at least with drinks. But spacious seats , aisle and even bathrooms.

    Oh boy. Do not ever use Avelo! Over 100 people stranded overnight 800 miles away from home. This is my first time using Avelo and likely my last. My family and I are stranded in Florida. They gave us a 150$ hotel voucher. How much are rooms now-a-days? This guy is not happy. My 10 and 12 year old kids are trucking it out like champs and sleeping in the airport. The flight was supposed to leave at 814pm. Got delayed until 112am. The plane was parked and ready to get loaded. Then we all got a text saying that our flight was delayed until 11am tomorrow. Everyone was devastated. There was at least 20 kids under 12. Many people are sleeping at the Orlando Airport this morning and Avelo is to blame.

    Do not purchase Avelo plus. They claim that you get free priority boarding but your ticket prints as standard boarding. If you call to get assurance they simply apologize and will not refund money for the service that was not rendered

    I was supposed to be on an early AM flight but it was cancelled and I was forced to scramble in order to get out today. Customer service on the phone and at the counter was amazing. They took what was going to be a horrible situation for me and got me on the afternoon flight. I am very pleased with the level of service which was provided to me in Orlando, Florida.
