I’m extremely disappointed with the service I received from Thomas when I went to apply for my passport for the first time. This was an important and unfamiliar process for me, and I came in expecting guidance, patience, and professionalism but unfortunately, I was met with the opposite.Thomas was rude, dismissive, and made me feel like I was a burden for simply asking questions. Instead of explaining things clearly or offering any form of support, he responded with an attitude that was cold, impatient, and frankly disrespectful. His behavior made an already stressful process even more uncomfortable and confusing. It’s deeply concerning that someone in a public-facing role, especially when dealing with sensitive and important documents like passports, would treat applicants this way — especially first-timers who may be nervous or unsure. Everyone deserves to be treated with basic kindness and respect, regardless of their experience level. I sincerely hope the management addresses this, as no one should be made to feel unwelcome or looked down upon while trying to complete an important life task. This kind of behavior reflects poorly on the entire office and undermines trust in the process.

We had a fantastic experience with the passport service at USPS Renton Highlands! The 2 officers were incredibly helpful, kind, and cooperative throughout the entire process. Everything was smooth and professional, and we truly appreciated their friendly attitude. We actually enjoyed our visit—which is not something you usually say about paperwork! We highly recommend getting your passport done at this location. It was for New passports for the whole family.

According to their website, the walk-in time for passport applicatons is 8-9am. When you get there, you will be made aware that *actually* only the first 4 applicants within that period will be served and the rest will be turned down. The lady at the counter made me aware of this with her full entitlement as if we are supposed to be aware of the hidden perks of their government jobs. A total waste of time.

They told me they delivered my package in my parcel locker from the 9th of June and it’s no where to be found went to the office twice and was told the driver forgot to leave the key in the mailbox went back there today the 13th of June and the supervisor on duty claim that she’s busy and will give me a call up until no I can’t receive a phone call about my package. The email say I was supposed to sign for my package so why wasn’t it Delivered to my door in the first place for me to sign for it smh

This one star is directly in relation to my interactions with one employee, I don't know her name yet as I will file a complaint once I do, the one star is not my overall experience. As the Asian lady is the most helpful and sweetest. But, after 1.5 years of going into this location, the very large White woman who is almost always at the customer counter is just absolutely horrible at customer service. She is rude and makes every interaction extremely uncomfortable. Why she chose customer service as an occupation is mind boggling. She obviously hates the public and her job, yet she is still there 1.5 years later after seeing here there when I first moved to the area. You don't even have to interact with her to know what I am speaking of, just stand in the vicinity/line and you will quickly understand what I am speaking of, its not just me, its EVERY SINGLE CUSTOMER. Condescending, impatient and seems to go out of her way to throw in unnecessary comments. After a while people learn their groove and working with customers becomes easier, yet, it seems every day it becomes worse with this woman. Again, its almost as if she hates her job and the public. The energy she gives off changes your mood, you can walk in happy and having a great day and walk out disturbed and wondering "why the heck do they still have her at the customer counter or with USPS at all" When I did customer service I found out quick repeating the same exact words when someone is not quite understanding me is useless, you want to try and help them and say the same thing but rephrasing it in a way that may help them understand better. Not this woman, she is almost robot like with her communication. I could go on and on and cite exact interactions with specifics but I think I got my point across. I will be acquiring her name and position title, then filing a complaint with the USPS and continue to do so every time an interaction deserves one. I have put up with her attitude for a long time and I think it is long past time to bring this employees behavior to the attention of USPS. If you see a taller/heavier/definitely not smiling White woman using a monotone voice with robotic "to the USPS pamphlet" replies, just wait for the next rep to be available, she will ruin your day.
