I missed my flight and they quickly booked me on another one. So I'm good. But I sure miss the days when all airlines served meals in all classes. Food is so overpriced at airports and I hate having to drag "one more thing" on to the plane. Being served those little meals with the cute tray was fun, it brightened the atmosphere, got people socializing, heightened the dreary vibe and made the time go by faster. When I was a kid it was pretty spectacular to interact with a kind "Stewardess" in a snappy uniform with a silver winged brooch!- And she brought you a blanket if you were cold. Bummer. - No food, less fun, dreary uniforms with sensible shoes and add luggage fees. The glam has been sucked out of life.

Last Friday, after having 5+ hour delays with Alaska, they finally transferred me to United but they managed to not transfer the money. So of course, I could not check in and I had no idea what the problem was, and neither did Alaska. Thank you so much to Justin from United who was literally running between Alaska and United to figure out the issue and was having 10+ minutes of phone calls! While my main airline didn't even care, I made it to San Francisco thanks to him!! I didn't know how to send in praise so I wanted to write a review! He was probably the kindest and the most helpful person I have ever seen, a literal angel!! I am only ever flying with United from now on, thanks again 💓

Traveled to.PSP to SFO to Las Vegas Round trip. Seated on 4A. Our SFO to LAS had to return to SFO after 30 minutes in-flight due to mechanical issues. Everyone was calm. New plane/aircrew was arranged within 1 1/2 hours and we were on our way. Great handing of the delay. Thanks you United Airlines. I'll be flying same route in late January

Caution Palm Springs residents and visitors. We have a United CC and of course try to fly United whenever we can. BUT....every single time we booked out of Palm Springs on United, the flight is always delayed or canceled. Strongly recommend another carrier when using this Airport. Maybe this is their new business model?
