Today a helpful and on point gate agent named Maria noticed my mother was unwell while trying to board. She flagged her and set wheels in motion that potentially averted a more dramatic medical emergency at altitude. While the flight was missed and new plans had to be made, I am beyond grateful for Maria and her training and attention to detail. Today could have ended differently. But my mom is now waiting to board another flight after having been successfully discharged and given the go ahead to fly. Just an honest thank you to Maria.

We have been planning a trip to New Zealand for 5 years. Our tickets have been changed, cancelled or altered 7 times. Each time the airline would notify us of the cancellation. But only once did we receive new flight information. We had to stay on hold as long as 6 hours, no responses to the emails or texts. They told us lastly the problem had been resolved but we still don’t have a flight home. We will never, ever use this airline again.

Long term decline for decades. The bailout was a mistake. Someone could've bought some planes and hired mechanics and pilots and flight attendants and done great.

I had a positive experience with United Airlines at Burbank Airport. I was picking up my kids, and since they’re minors, I needed an escort pass to go to the gate — but the check-in counter had already closed around 7:30 PM. Even though they couldn’t issue the pass, one of the staff members was kind and tried to help as much as possible. They let me know that my kids would be escorted to baggage claim, which helped ease my worries. The staff were warm, helpful, and understanding, making a stressful moment feel more manageable. I really appreciated their support!
