If I can rate with zero stars I would. By far the worst airlines I've tried to fly with. Worse than Spirit airlines. We had a group of 30 kids plus 11 adults. We arrived on time as suggested by United themselves but they refused to check us in, providing no reason for the denial. They tried to rebook us but for the day after causing us to miss pre planned activities, causing distress to the kids. They denied our group check in but allowed other passengers on the same flight to check in. Avoid this airline at all costs.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Flying United Airlines out of Ontario, California was hands-down one of the smoothest, most stress-free travel experiences I’ve ever had! From check-in to touchdown, everything felt seamless. The United crew at ONT truly sets the bar—friendly, fast, and laser-focused on getting things right without losing their human touch. At the gate, the staff actually smiled (imagine that!), answered questions without rushing anyone, and even made boarding feel organized instead of chaotic. The flight crew? Absolute pros. Attentive, upbeat, and genuinely seemed to enjoy being in the air with us. Bonus points for United’s on-time performance at this airport—it was like they were racing the sun and winning. If you’re flying out of Ontario, do yourself a favor and book with United. It’s the kind of airline experience that reminds you travel can still feel good. 💺✈️🙌

Flying United Airlines was, without question, one of the most miserable travel experiences I’ve ever endured. From the moment I boarded to the moment I was finally released from the overheated metal prison that passed as an aircraft, the experience was riddled with failure, indifference, and pure neglect. Let’s start with the “first class” seating—a laughable term for what felt more like a repurposed city bus bench with slightly better upholstery. The seat was stiff, cramped, and ergonomically hostile. Comfort? Not even close. At that price point, I expected more than just extra legroom and disappointment. The air conditioning was broken, leaving the cabin sweltering. Hot, stagnant air circulated through the plane like a slow death, while the flight attendants barely acknowledged the issue—too busy, I suppose, perfecting their scowls and ignoring passengers. The staff was unfriendly and robotic, making no effort to remedy any part of the situation or even offer the basic decency of good customer service. As for in-flight amenities, they were a total joke. WiFi didn’t work. Screens didn’t work. Power outlets didn’t work. So much for entertainment or charging devices. For a supposed premium airline, this was a third-world setup with first-world pricing. Then there’s the food—a dried-out, flavorless disgrace that could barely be called edible. I’ve had better meals at gas stations. United somehow manages to serve food that’s simultaneously bland and offensive. But the true insult came at the end. After a hellish flight, we finally landed at Ontario airport at 10:30 PM… only to sit on the runway for an extra 1.5 hours. Why? Because a JetBlue plane was occupying Gate 203, and United—showcasing peak laziness and incompetence—refused to use one of the many available empty gates. Instead, we were held hostage on the tarmac like cattle while they waited for the gate to clear. No apology. No explanation. Just prolonged discomfort and disrespect. This wasn’t just a bad flight—it was a full display of corporate indifference, operational dysfunction, and complete disregard for customer experience. If United Airlines believes this is acceptable service, it’s no wonder they’re constantly ranked near the bottom of customer satisfaction lists. Avoid this airline at all costs.

This is the WORST company to do business with. I just paid $1000 to change my name from "Chris" to "Christopher" because they didn't recognize it as the same name and refused to check me in to my flight. I bought travel insurance, yet they claim insurance won't cover name change. Let me remind you, my name did not change. So they made me rebook both tickets and I paid double the price. For nothing! What a scam. Avoid this company at all costs. Honestly, I'd rather fly Spirit Airlines. At least you know what you are getting with them. United is just dressed up garbage. Just scroll through their reviews. You will see some very common trends of terrible service.

Too small of an airport and the traffic, it's terrible
