My wife and I had the opportunity to utilize TWG Travel for a European trip we took this time last year. While TWG typically books for hunters traveling abroad, they did an OUTSTANDING job with our travel arrangements. They took care of all our flights and requested accommodations with ease. All flights and hotels stays were a breeze to check-in to since Tricia at TWG did an exceptional job at preparing us on what to expect all along the way. We even hit a few snags along our trip and utilized TWG's 24-hour assistance hotline. Patrick was able to sort out all our arrangements to get us back on the road. Buyer BEWARE. AVOID TWG Travel. My father and I booked a Kamchatka Penensula Brown Bear hunt and through our hunting outfitter we were referred to TWG travel agency to arrange for our travel from the USA to Russia. In February 2022, I purchased first class plane tickets ($6134.57 total) through a TWG travel agent named Patrick Wright to fly from JFK international airport to Sheremetyevo, Moscow, Russia. Ten days following my purchase, my expedition was cancelled by the outfitter and the flight was cancelled by the Aeroflot because of war between Russia and the Ukraine. I contacted Mr. Wright to see about having my purchase refunded and he stated that refunds through Aeroflot can take time to process, in fact he stated that he had clients from years ago that never received refunds. I suggested that I should dispute the charges through my credit card company and was quickly reprimanded by Mr. Wright with two separate emails threatening legal action if I pursued this option. I stood down at Mr. Wrights suggestions and waited patiently. Over the next 8 months, I sent several emails asking about the status of my refund with further suggestion that I should be patient. Then on 10/31/2022, I received an email from Mr. Wright stating that refunds were thought by him to no longer be an option through Aeroflot and that I should dispute the charges with my credit card company. I then contacted my credit card company through Chase and was told that this option was not available for more any purchase over 6 months prior to the inquiry. They specificially told me that given their policy, they would have been able to pursue refunding my purchase if it had been within the 6 month time window. I would avoid using TWG travel for any of your hunting travel needs.

TWG was recommended as the place to go if one wants to export a firearm for a hunting expedition. Even with cancellations due to COVID, Patrick and Mario handled all of our needs and helped make our trip a success. They were always there if we needed them and handled everything with promptness and efficiency. We will certainly use them in the future. Recommend without reservation!

Very disappointed with the recent customer service I received from TWG. I previously used them for international travel to Africa and was very pleased with their service. Unfortunately, they are now very difficult to contact, and when I did finally reach a representative, she struggled with recalling even the basic information. I spent >$8k on my recent trip and did not feel like a valued customer.

Most expensive travel agency I've ever used. Even charged me $25 to cancel my flights besides the $225 they charged to book it.
