Summit is truly the best flight school around! Great fleet with well-maintained aircraft and the most phenomenal instructors. I truly feel like everyone at this school wants the best for the students and each other. They’re not just a flight school, but a family. Would recommend this school to anyone and everyone!

My daughter did a Discovery Flight today and had the best time! She’s shown interest in flying and the Discovery Flight was a great way to introduce her to it without any obligation or commitment. Our instructor, Julian, was amazing to work with. We walked the plane together doing preflight checks and taught us a lot about planes, the mechanics behind it, and explained why each check was important. We even had the exciting opportunity to watch the plane get refueled prior to the next set of checks prior to take off. Once in the air, the instructor handed control of the plane to my daughter and started having her learn how to make the plane do what she wanted to do - that said, her initial turns made my stomach swim, but she quickly picked it up and the flight smoothed out greatly. It was a beautiful, clear day with almost perfect flight conditions ❤️The instructor was super encouraging to her - even told her she was better than most at keeping her elevation and speed steady! Overall, this was an amazing experience and I’d encourage everyone to give a Discovery Flight ✈️ a chance. At the end, my daughter was issued a temporary flight log and already has 1.1 hours towards training needed to pursue a private pilot license! We will be back to work on her training as I haven’t seen her smile so beautifully in a long time. Thank you, Summit (and Julian), for the amazing experience!

Top tier culture, instruction, maintenance / safety and aircraft. Best people in aviation. I did my CFI from late 2024 until early 2025. Summit set me up to have the most enjoyable checkride yet (yes my CFI initial was enjoyable) and I couldn’t have done it without them.

I highly recommend choosing Summit Flight Training as the school to get whatever cert you are looking for. I attended another flight school before coming here to get my CFI, however I wish I did all my training at Summit. The staff are all fantastic teachers, with the experience to help a wide variety of students. Corrie was my flight instructor and she is incredible, very empathetic and made me a better pilot. No matter who you get at Summit however, know you will be in good hands! The planes are well maintained and the environment is perfect for learning. If I could give 6 stars I would, so please consider Summit for your flight training, you won't regret it!

Finished my Commercial flight training here, was an outstanding experience. The instructors are here to teach, not to build time, and everyone displays a lighthearted professionalism that creates a perfect environment for learning. The only limiting factor for success is yourself, as everyone is willing to help you achieve your goals in any way they can. The airplanes are priced higher than some flight schools, but are maintained very well, and they are very rarely down for any inconvenient amount of time. This alone makes the price well worth it. There isn’t another school in Colorado I would point people towards to learn how to fly, or to get an advanced rating. I really think they do things right here.
