Easy to get around. Hopefully some day American Express will put a lounge in. I had no trouble during my arrival or my departure the next day. Interesting to see workers with cowboy hats but that's Texas! I saw 2 cow statues...probably more...the plaque on one of them mentioned others. I didn't get a picture of those. One had pictures of different old buildings around San Antonio and one was pink.

Absolutely the worst airport I have ever had to use. Apparently the police don't remember what happened during 9/11 and allow people to park anywhere they want including jamming up traffic. I have videos and pictures of people part for almost 20 minutes while the cop sitting just stare at him. People almost get hit at the crosswalks because the cops aren't paying attention. It doesn't seem to matter what time of day it is because nothing is enforced. People stop dead in the middle of the four lanes and just parked there. I'm guessing all of these signs for no parking doesn't apply. It's no wonder it took my wife one hour to get here from the 281 intersection.

It is a great medium sized airport. Usually very quick through security and because it is a smaller airport, you don't have to far to go to any gate. Parking is pretty straight forward for long term and short term , same as any other parking garage. There are some economy parking places just across the highway with shuttle service. They run fairly often and I have never had to wait more than 15 minutes. Rental returns for cars is quick and easy, just drive up , leave keys in vehicle and they check you in. Fairly smooth operation 😎! Overall great airport.

Look, I always fly Delta when I can. When I travel, I choose the best that I can afford in all aspects of my journey. This time I was taken aback by the way I was addressed by one of the ticket agents at the Delta desk in this airport. Maybe she was tired, because we were checking in at 3am for a 4am boarding and she possibly hadn't slept all night. Maybe she didn't like that my wife and I were the only two standing on a priority line for first class fliers and she had to take care of us first instead of continuing with the line of people waiting for regular service. Neither way does it matter. Don't take it out on me for paying for extra service. Take it out on your employers who offer these services. Better yet, if you don't like your job get a better one. No good morning, even after I said it first, no hello, straight to barking at me about the size of my suitcase which I've travelled with for years without a problem. I tried to get her to explain her problem with our only suitcase, but she just kept on with her tirade and when my wife tried to speak the woman cut her off and just asked for I D. The real problem was the attitude. My wife and I are both pushing retirement age. Who are you to talk down to us. I am not your child. This was the morning of October 24th, 2025. I hope you too didn't have to deal with this unhappy person. 2 Stars is all Delta gets from today.

It's a small airport compared with many others but that is what is good about this one. Easy access and easy departure, leaving. Public transportation is very convenient, right at the exit or entrance. We heard that will be expanded and renovated. Hopefully will remain convenient after the renovation. Would love to see more small businesses. Be back soon to San Antonio.

Security is relatively smooth and quick but the dining options leave a lot to be desired. I know a renovation is coming so I'll update my review in the future. The lack of lounges is a true letdown. The parking garage has made great strides over the years but the technology to track available parking falls flat. Of of the airports I've been too, no fewer than 50, this one is in the middle of the pack.

San Antonio International Airport (SAT) is one of the easier airports to navigate, and that alone earns it high marks. From parking to security to finding your gate, the layout is straightforward and stress-free—something you can’t say about many airports these days. Inside, the terminals are clean, well-lit, and stocked with a good variety of local restaurants and grab-and-go spots. Staff are generally friendly, and TSA lines move at a steady pace, even during busier travel periods. Baggage claim is quick, and rideshare pickup is simple and organized. Is it the biggest airport? No. But that’s part of its charm. SAT is efficient, convenient, and easy to get in and out of, whether you’re starting your trip or heading home. A solid airport experience all around.

Welcome to San Antonio IX 'Strictland' airport. Home of the whataburger and military city. Yup, that is about it here. The vibe isn't horrible at this airport, certainly not as sad skeeter as phoenix, AZ. I feel as they though, instead of spending all their money on more new parking garages, they could do well to spend on some more upgrades to make the airport vibe a lot more cheerful and happy. This is a fiesta city that knows how to get down and have fun , but the airport certainly does not reflect that. A lot more fiesta vibe to get people in a happy mood to actually want to spend money and less military/ 'merica drudgery vibes. Also they could have a bit more helpful signage at some ends of the airport. For some reason they had a drug/ bomb sniffing dog working on the other side after you get thru security for extra harassment (again, 'Strictland' vibes). Doubt this airport will be changing anytime soon though. The TSA ordeal went smoothly at least. Honestly, SA is getting to large for it's own good. This is a pretty small airport for such a massive growing city population. OK goodbye SA!

San Antonio International Airport is compact and straightforward to navigate. The two terminals are connected by a walkway. Security checkpoints move quickly during off-peak hours. There are various food options, including local Tex-Mex spots. Free Wi-Fi is provided throughout. Parking is convenient with short-term and long-term lots nearby. Ubers to the city cost approximately 50 to 80 dollars.

Pretty easy airport to navigate. Rental car parking is convenient, mostly friendly workers everywhere, clean, well designed. A few displays to see. Smaller airport so less food and shopping options as you’d expect. Good experience here. TSA and security was good too. Just wish they’d hire more people to get delays and lost baggage handled more efficiently. Great USO outside of security also.
