Not bad, but very outdated. Drop off area is easy to pull in and pull out at the main terminal. Terminal 2 changed and is more hectic. Easy to get through security most days. Staff is okay, not terrible but not welcoming either. Flooring is very dirty. Kids area in main terminal (Terminal 1) looks nice- would make for a nice entertainment area for traveling with young kids. Not a lot of folks to help if you need it in the entry. Some nice charging stations scattered around, but for the most part the seating is very basic. Restrooms are okay, nothing above and beyond, but functional and relatively clean. Water stations at each restroom which is handy. Not a lot to do, not a lot of shops. Food options are not great. I wouldn’t recommend the airport as a connection or layover choice. More of a functional airport to check the basics. Passenger pickup area is a nightmare.

Flew into St. Louis today to visit a customer of fresh produce. I forgot how busy this airport can get on the way in and way out. Even the TSA pre check line can get very long so get there a bit early. Also there are two terminals so be sure to know which airline you are flying out of. Especially if you are traveling with other people going different places. The bathrooms were clean when I used them and the staff was friendly that was walking around airport. I enjoy flying In and out of STL. Oh and how could I forget there were a couple Farmers Fridges in there for fresh food. It’s easy to navigate from the terminal to baggage claim and then down to the rental car or hotel shuttles. Everything here is off site so also prepare for that both ways.

The St. Louis Airport is a small airport with narrow walkways so it can feel cramped. There are stores, restaurants, and art on the walls. Because of how crowded it gets, there's often a line for the small restrooms.

The St Louis airport is an international airport close to the downtown area. It's relatively easy to get here and parking is fine, as well as drop off by gig car. Shuttles to hotels and rental car companies are easy to get to as well. The airport was pretty clean and it's massive, so there's bathrooms spread out all over the place. They have a kids play area that is amazing if you have kids. Lots of places to eat and get things to go, but like all airports, it's very pricey so it's still best to bring closed snacks with you if possible. Some gates are too close together so lines to get on the plane can be a struggle, but overall, the big layout makes it easy to navigate inside.

Lambert Field has definitely seen better days. It’s showing its age — dated interiors, tired amenities, and that unmistakable “old airport” vibe. But to its credit, it’s still functional, relatively easy to navigate, and usually not too crowded. With a little modernization, it could shine again, but for now it’s more nostalgia than wow factor. ✈️🛫

Whether you’re arriving or departing, the combination of smooth operations and decent dining options makes the experience pleasant and hassle-free.
