    I recently flew Spirit Airlines from FLL to DFW and had an overall positive experience. As a card holder, I received Priority 2 boarding, which made the boarding process smooth and hassle-free. The staff managed the boarding efficiently, and it was great to avoid the stress of waiting in a long line. Once on board, I appreciated the seating options available for card holders, providing some extra comfort during the flight. The flight attendants were especially courteous, attentive, and professional throughout the journey. Their positive attitude contributed to a pleasant travel atmosphere. Overall, my flight was enjoyable and comfortable. Spirit Airlines provided good service and efficient processes, making for a solid travel experience.

    The flight itself was great! Quiet, and smooth. The check in at Ft.Lauderdale very chaotic took long even with expedited security and we made our flight with last call even though we arrived before the boarding by 2 hours.

    As a long-time weekly flyer and a Silver Member, I have noticed a dramatic decline in service and reliability. Unfortunately, my experience today underscores why. When I saw my originally booked flight was delayed by 1.5 hours, I purchased an earlier flight—as it was cheaper than the change fee. That original flight is now delayed more than two hours, which I understand makes me eligible for a refund. However, the replacement flight I paid for is also delayed by more than an hour. This constant disruption and lack of special consideration for loyal Silver members is disappointing. The delays have become increasingly common, and the experience is frustrating and costly for frequent travelers like myself. I am going to source my flights from American Airlines moving forward

    I would rate Spirit Airlines 3 stars. The ticket prices were very affordable, and the check-in process was fairly quick. However, the seats were uncomfortable with very little legroom, and almost every service on board required an extra fee, which made the flight less enjoyable. The staff was polite, but overall the experience felt very basic. It’s fine for a short trip if you’re on a budget, but not the best option for longer flights

    Unacceptable Delay, Poor In-Flight Conditions, and Lack of Basic Customer Service Dear Spirit Airlines Customer Support, I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction with a recent experience on one of your flights. Our flight, originally scheduled to depart at 10:11 AM, was delayed without clear communication or any proper support from your crew. By 11:52 AM, we were still grounded, and the situation continued to worsen. Approximately 20 minutes prior, a medical emergency occurred and the patient was removed from the flight. However, since then, no one has been able to provide information on the updated departure time or what actions are being taken. What’s more alarming is the complete lack of accountability and basic customer service from your staff: Flight attendants refused to provide water, citing that they had not received instruction — even though we had been waiting for well over an hour in increasingly uncomfortable conditions. The air conditioning was extremely poor, making the environment even more unbearable. When we attempted to get help or updates, your crew appeared uninformed, unhelpful, and disinterested — showing no urgency or concern for passengers' well-being. It is unacceptable that passengers were made to wait inside the aircraft under such conditions, with no clear communication, no updates, and not even basic amenities like water provided. This level of service reflects poorly on your brand and raises serious concerns about how Spirit Airlines handles delays and emergencies. An official explanation of why the delay was so poorly handled and why the crew was unequipped to assist passengers.

    My very first experience and I loved it. I was particularly drawn to the airlines bright yellow and black colours. I flew Philly to Florida and back.

    It was my first time ever flying with Spirit and it's ABSOLUTELY MY LAST! I promise if I had more options for direct flights I gladly pay extra to NEVER fly this airline again! It started with standing in line at the " bag drop". After printing my own ticket and tagging my own bag I still had to wait for someone to show up and simply take my checked bag. We waited for 45 minutes. Smh. Next we get our tickets and there's no Gate details. All it said was " check screens". What screens? Once I confirmed which gate I should go to, the lady at the counter said the plane had not arrived. Our flight was now delayed. Once onboard there was no apology for the tardiness. The seats were basic and there wasn't an outlet to charge anything. But there was charge for EVERYTHING! I asked the attendant for a cup of ice only for my daughter and I was told if I wanted ice in a cup she'd have to charge me the equivalent of the drink, because they don't have complimentary service. I'm absolutely disgusted with this airline. Thank you for getting me home but never again.
