Pleasantly surprised to fly on Spirit. Seats were adequate but I’m not complaining. My ticket price was reasonable. I feel like this is one of the few airlines that offers a free carry-on and a personal item. I had to stuff my suitcase full but glad there weren’t extra fees or charges. Flight was good. We were on time. Staff was pleasant l. I’ll fly with Spirit again.

I’ve always flown Spirit and never had an issue. This last flight was from Detroit Michigan to Orlando Florida on 3/26/25. I don’t know who the pilot was, but he was not playing!! Haha he got us there in what seemed like God Speed. Take off and Landing were superb!

Omg the worst experience. The flight was at 9 a.m., and on time boarding was also done. We were asked to get down off the flight after boarding for 1 hour and sat in the flight. There were some problems in the plane. We were at the airport until 12pm. Flight took off after 15 minutes. It was a working day and couldn't reach the office in time.

I'm done with Spirit airlines. When you have any problems at all on an international or domestic flight you're basically screwed. When we travel to Detroit, the gate agents harass us about our backpacks. When I travel alone they put me in the middle seat even if the plane is half empty and they need to split up a mother and her daughter. Spirit has turned into a joke. If you can get a dirt cheap ticket and travel light with a backpack, it might be worth it. Otherwise book another airline.
