Dawn from Shadyside Travel was an absolute gem! She planned our 1st trip oversees to Italy with stops in Venice, Florence, and the Amalfi Coast. Every day had a detailed event and went beyond every expectation that we could of imagined. From the vehicle pickups from the airport, to the train tickets and hotel selections - everything was laid out and discussed in detail. Dawn understood what we were trying to accomplish on our trip and was able to put together an itinerary that matched our vision. I would highly recommend using Dawn for any travel to Italy!

Dawnn of Shadyside Travel Agency plans amazing adventures! A few years ago, our niece wished her graduation gift to be a magical adventure of Harry Potter in England and Scotland; and, Dawnn delivered with walking tours, a theater experience, excursions to nearby cities for filming locations, tours of castles and grounds, train rides with scenic views, and wonderful hotel rooms to slumber peacefully. Most recently, another niece wished her graduation adventure to be filled with good food and art; so, Dawnn created a whirlwind tour of Italy for us to experience in Rome, Sorrento, Florence, Venice, and Milan. Dawnn scheduled our first night in Rome to not only dine in a local's home but also to learn how to cook an authentic Italian meal - talk about an amazing experience and delicious food! And talk about rooms with a view, oi, how we did not want to leave our hotel in Sorrento as the balcony view was amazing. Not only did we see great art, we created art by painting a watercolor view of Venice thanks to Dawnn's thoughtful planning to paint with Nicola Tenderini, a local Venetian artist (we could have spent all day doing this as the few hours allotted for painting left our masterpieces unfinished, haha). Life can be busy with work, family, and friends; and as much as I love planning, I am ever grateful to hand over that duty to Dawnn so that all we had to do was show up and enjoy everything without overthinking. Dawnn is conscientious about one's budget and timeframe as she provided options to create our perfect adventures. And with another niece graduating in 2025, I cannot wait to see what Dawnn plans for us next.

Dawnn planned our trip to London, the Cotswolds, and Ireland. It was involved- planes, trains, and automobiles - but she made sure it all clicked; if her itinerary said a driver or a guide would be there- they were! It was all tailored for us and our wishes, we can’t pick a favorite day, they were all highlights! Highly recommend!!!
