I have taken tours with Setness Tours for years with my mom. I've always had the best experience and the most wonderful time on the bus trip. Shawn was always friendly and accommodating, the bus is very clean, she was very informative about our trip along the way. My mom has also taken trips for quite a few years and has never had a bad experience so I have no understanding of why there are any bad reviews for this companyof why there are any bad reviews for this company. If I could give them 10 stars I would.

Shawn was the reason my family members said they will never book again. She is rude, she talks about the other people in the group in a negative way. She acts as if everyone is ruining her vacation and was the worst part of the trip. My family member didn’t even want to leave a review from their own account due to backlash.

I have been on 4 or 5 day trips with Setness Tours. I love my only responsibility is to be on the bus on-time. Setness Tours takes care of the rest.With most trips there are usually lunches or dinner, and they are always great. I've never had a problem. Always a great day . ...

Update. It turns out that the company changed their mind and decided to issue refunds after all, so I'm amending the review to 3 stars. An elderly family member booked a tour with Setness travel early in 2020 and due to covid concerns, she canceled the tour in early April and was told she'd get a full refund. 10 days later, she got a letter in the mail stating that the company had changed their policy and did not allow any refunds anymore, only future credit. I offered to help her with getting her money back and after writing the company, I got an email back from the owner, Wayne who promised to issue a refund, but they needed time due to covid. Fair enough, so we waited four months and after sending them a reminder early this week, his wife Katherine responded that there would not be any refunds after all. Absolutely deceitful business practice. Buyer beware.

Never personally set up a tour through this company. Just happened to be on the same tour as them. While the owner of Setness was a very pleasant man, the people he tours with aren't the most friendly. Lots of complaining about the other people within their tour group, always picking fights about not having a row to themselves on the tour bus, complaining about how much walking was happening, complaints about not enough shopping time, etc. Never experienced such strong entitlement by a group of human beings. No wonder why Europeans have a negative view of Americans. If you want to enjoy your vacation, my suggestion is to ask for a personality assessment for the group before you sign up to go on vacation with them.
