We just returned from a truly magical trip to Tanzania and Kenya. Rothschild, specifically Storm Keen, curated a trip of a lifetime. She spoke with us and asked all the right questions about what we like to do, our interests and what we want to see and do while in Africa. Storm specifically selected each camp based on those answers and even remembered we mentioned it was our 35th anniversary year. Everything was carefully planned to ensure that our anniversary trip was perfect. All the transfers, flights and accommodations were booked for us and we never had to worry. We were met at every transfer and guided thru airports, passport control with ease. Our accommodations exceeded our expectations. The staff, guides and food at every camp were 5 stars. We saw more animals and learned so much about their habits and traits. We felt like we were family at our camps and not just guests. There were several surprises- like bush breakfasts, private dinners and sunset sundowners- which made our trip even more memorable. I would highly recommend Storm and the Rothschild team.

Our safari experience with Rothschild Safaris was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. Every detail was perfectly planned and executed, making our trip seamless, memorable, and deeply personal. From the very beginning, Pam and Angie handled every detail of our itinerary with care and precision. Upon arrival in Nairobi, Peter met us right at the airport, guided us through security, and personally escorted us to the club — a level of service that immediately set the tone for the rest of our journey. Francis, our driver in Nairobi, was warm, professional, and made our transfers effortless. At every destination, we were touched by the thoughtfulness of the Rothschild team. They went above and beyond to celebrate our anniversary — from heartfelt songs by the camp staff to rose petals, banners, and beautiful personal touches in every room. Our first stop, Tawi Lodge in Amboseli National Park, was unforgettable. The lodge overlooked a watering hole where elephants, giraffes, and zebras gathered daily. Our suite was incredible — luxurious yet perfectly in tune with the wild surroundings. Nicholas and Gabriel, our guide, were outstanding, and each evening a Maasai warrior escorted us safely to our room, adding an authentic touch to the experience. At Karen Blixen Camp in the Mara North Conservancy, the magic continued. The tent was elegant and immersed in nature, overlooking a waterhole where hippos bellowed through the night. Our guides, Jonathan and Allen, were exceptional — knowledgeable, passionate, and incredibly skilled at spotting wildlife. They gave us unforgettable close-up encounters with lions, cheetahs, elephants, and an incredible leopard sighting that left us in awe. One of the most memorable moments of our entire safari was when the staff surprised us with a heartfelt anniversary song — personal, beautiful, and something we will treasure forever. Back in Nairobi, we visited Karen Blixen House, a special thank you as well to Emily, our wonderful guide, whose insights brought the history and spirit of the place to life. Finally, we ended our journey with a few relaxing days in the Seychelles at Mango House. The property was stunning, with beautiful ocean views and breathtaking sunrises. It was the perfect way to unwind after our safari adventures — peaceful, elegant, and absolutely picturesque. Rothschild Safaris truly exceeded every expectation. The attention to detail, warmth of the people, and flawless planning made this a trip of a lifetime. I would highly recommend Rothschild Safaris to anyone dreaming of an authentic, luxurious, and deeply meaningful safari experience.

Top to bottom, I'm incredibly impressed with Rothschild Safaris. We planned a 3 week safari for June 2025. Rothschild crafted an itinerary which met all of our wishes and needs (and then some!). They made the whole process easy. And their advice came from a place of deep knowledge. All of our lodges and stays were exceptional. The logistics within Africa that they planned for us were seamless. For example, we were met at each transfer point and guided and driven to the next place. We never had to worry. Honestly, we have traveled a lot, but this is one of the most memorable and special trips we've ever taken. I would trust Rothschild to plan for us again. I do not hesitate to recommend them.

It’s kind of funny trying to write a review in a small box, especially after experiencing a trip like the one Rothschild Safaris organized for me and my now fiancée (went on the trip as a girlfriend, came back as a fiancée 🤷🏻‍♂️). I’ll start with STOP LOOKING AND BOOK WITH ROTHSCHILD. We went to Africa, specifically Tanzania and Kenya. It’s intimidating when you are thinking about going to Africa, especially if you’ve never been before. So intimidating in fact, that I didn’t know where to start and therefore almost didn’t start. I emailed Storm Keen at Rothschild and she got back to me faster than any other company. The trip was tailored, from start to finish. When I say start to finish, I mean before we even went through customs someone was there to escort us, and the same thing upon leaving the continent. I can’t begin to describe the trip, and how amazing it was. Only people who have experienced it will be able to relate. I just got home last week and am already looking at my schedule for the next year in anticipation of booking another trip. I will 10000% be using Rothschild Safaris again, and would recommend the same for you.

We recently completed an African Safari, planned and executed with help from the team at Rothschild Safaris. They were with us every step of the way, from planning the itinerary to selecting accommodations and arranging transfers. With a long distance trip with so many transfers and things that could go wrong, everything went so smoothly, it exceeded our expectations!
