I went there for a concert, dropped my bags off at 4pm and was back out. I got back at 1:00 am and realized the room was not suitable for stay but it was too late I just needed a place to spend the night to get back to the airport in the am. There was mold on the walls, worn down furnishings, hair left in the bathroom clearly from previous patrons as I had not been in the room. I tried to get to sleep and this wailing alarm kept going off. It went off four times before I tried to call to the front desk, no phone in the room so I used my cell phone, NO ANSWER. I went down to the lobby there were 8 other ppl in the lobby waiting for the same reason. All the front desk clerk kept saying was someone pulled the fire alarm, you all can go back to ur rooms, it’ll stop. While we were down there the alarm went off another 4 times before we called the fire department. They came and said someone would be out to look at it. When I say worst experience I ever had and I would never recommend this place to anyone. Not to mention the sex trafficking looking activity, sex sounds and smoke odor even though they said the area is non smoking. Truly a 0/10 experience.

I never leave reviews so you know it was terrible. I’ll leave a list of everything that was bad but the main thing that pushed me over the edge was How they treated my employees. I was on a work trip with some of my sales reps. One of my reps was on a floor that they wanted to clear out so they would have the floor for a whole group of people. They took all of his stuff out of his room without notifying him and bagged it up for him to get later and moved him to a different Room. Again with no notification. My OTHER Employee came to our event late, Which she called ahead of time and let them know she was not going to be there. She showed up to the hotel to learn that they had given her a room away, and there was not a single room in the hotel for her to stay. Again, this is after she had called ahead and confirm that she was going to be there on the day that she said she was going to be. Also, the hotel staff was the Max amount of unhelpful that they could be. We had paid for the rooms through a third-party and they would do absolutely nothing to help to make sure we got it sorted out. And really the only thing that I wanted was contact information to follow. With the correct parties. I had to fight with them for 45 minutes just to get the manager’s phone number so I could call back later to double check that the issue was resolved. Other than that major headache here is a list of everything else in the hotel That was terrible. -Toilet would keep flushing, unless I took the back off to jiggle the inside parts. -The sink water pressure was so aggressive that it would spray me and the entire bathroom when I turned it on -There was a stain on every single towel in the room -The showerheads are so short. They’re probably only 5 feet off the ground so if you’re tall, good luck getting clean. -No ice bucket -The ice machine is sitting in a tray of moldy water -The vending machine machine on my floor didn’t work -One of my Lamps would not turn on -Wanted to hang my shirt up in the closet and there were no coat hangers -There are stains all over the walls -they did not clean the Rooms in any of the four days that I stayed here Any of these things would be no big deal if it was just one thing but everything from top to bottom with my experience was absolutely terrible and I would never recommend to anybody staying here

This place is deeply unsettling. We weren’t expecting perfection, or even anywhere remotely nice, but we were hoping for a basic and clean room. Normally, suspicious smashed up cars, a fake police light and a rude receptionist would be the worst part of a hotel stay. However, these were slightly overshadowed by the poo in our toilet, the poo stain on the pillowcase, and the huge poo stain on our mattress. There was also a pubic hair in our bed. Also, bring your own water as the taps are disgusting and there are no glasses. You can ask for bottled water but you will get laughed at and told the hotel doesn’t have any. Sheets also had lots of cigarette burns and the whole place smelled strongly of weed. Enjoy! Decent location though and free parking was appreciated.

The bedding was dirty, and I had to wear shoes in the shower because it felt unsanitary. The toilet seat is completely broken. When I asked the front desk for fresh sheets and blankets, I was told there was no one available in housekeeping and that they don’t provide daily cleanings but would submit a request for the morning. I would strongly advise against staying here.

This is a very clean but obviously run down facility. The decor, furniture, wall coverings, floors, and textiles are completely worn out. The bedspread in my room had a hole in it and a large weird brown stain. Apparently they have washed this fabric until it is falling apart. The carpets are fraying at the entrances. The rooms are poorly maintained. My room did not have toilet paper and the coffee maker did not have a coffee pot. The restaurant attached to the hotel has a grandiose name outside. But it is a far below average Chinese restaurant. Parking is difficult because they are renting out parking spaces for people to fly out of the airport. The only saving grace was I could tell that someone cleaned the room and especially cleaned the tile floors which can get dirty very quickly. So obvious care is being taken, but it would require an enormous renovation for it to be a reasonable quality establishment. From the look of things, this hotel is on a downward financial death spiral.

I usually don’t need to post a review on my stay at a hotel but this is an exception to my rules. Usually, I am left satisfied. But, I am just appalled with the way things turnt out with this particular hotel. The hotel was in bad condition from the service, the staff, and the rooms were not kept cleaned. My family and I were there for a mini vacay and we left this hotel completely disappointed!!!! The cleaning crew were pretty much nonexistent, I had to basically get my own clean towels and toiletries to wash up. The manager was never available to fix my issues with the hotel room. Sheets had spots on them and hair was everywhere leaving me an impression of unfortunately of uncleanliness. We tried to get some of our concerns fixed or some of our money back and the manager is refusing to give us a refund. I am advising everyone to not stay at this hotel even though it is close to everything Birmingham! Next time, I come to Birmingham I will personally check out my hotel thoroughly before I book a stay online. Lesson definitely learned. Final note pictures are definitely deceiving online. Don’t waste your money. I really hope my review help someone else before it’s too late!!!!!

I’ve stayed in many hotels, but this place has the worst front desk and customer service I’ve ever dealt with. I booked two nights on purpose so I could check in early in the morning — meaning the “extra” morning would be covered by the previous night. This is a very standard practice. When I arrived, they told me there was no reservation for me at all, simply because I booked two nights but was only going to stay one. Their logic made zero sense, and instead of helping, the front desk acted confused, unprofessional, and honestly rude. No effort to solve the issue. No apology. Nothing. Just attitude and excuses. I ended up wasting time, energy, and patience because of their complete lack of basic customer service. If you want a stress-free stay or staff who actually know how reservations work, stay far away from this hotel.
