I was flying out of Detroit and need a wheelchair. I ordered it previously when I checked intoy flight. I waited in line for 30 min and would have missed my flight if I continued to wait. So I walked very slowly to my gate. When I got to my gate, a prospect agent was there waiting for me. He scanned my boarding pass, but he didn't help me at all. It was very strange. Maybe they were trying toske it look like they wheeled me there. Shady. Another time I flew out of Detroit I waited one hour for a wheelchair and then the prospect individual pushed two separate wheelchairs. Weird. If you can't provide a service, don't say you will. Hopefully I won't have to come through Detroit for awhile.

My wife gets short of breath easily due to a medical condition so we always order wheelchair service especially if we have a layover. When we arrived in Philly nobody was there to transport her from the plane so I went to the gate desk to check the status. I was told they had called for a wheelchair once but that they would make another call. The desk agent left shortly after that and said she would try and find somebody on the way out. After another 15 minutes we were getting close to boarding time of our next flight so I walked down a few gates where I’ve been watching some wheelchair pushers gather. The manager there said they were all “waiting for a flight that was about to come in” yet they weren’t at my gate when we arrived. The only reason Prospect gets two stars is because of one pusher who had just arrived said that she would pick her up while the rest of them continued to just chatter and wait.

I don’t usually change Gates but because of my knee I had to get a wheelchair and I waited outside my gate when I arrived at Detroit and it’s nice man called. Kevin❤️ came up and took me from B5 to A-6 It was so nice. I would’ve never found it by myself and I could’ve never walked that far. Thank you very much. He did great and so kind and courteous and respectful. respectfully, Donna con🥰

This company is a big joke with the laziest workers. Good luck trying to get a wheelchair, they’ll leave you sitting there. And if you try getting a wheelchair when coming off the plane, be prepared to face lazy workers with the worst attitudes who will deny you wheelchair services even though you have one requested.

I had a young lady by the name of Haley that helped me from the plane to my car and I had had a very upsetting day with the airline for several factors and she was wonderful. She was very polite. She was very helpful. She did way beyond what she needed you to help me out And I just wanna give her some recognition a shout out to Haley at the Detroit Metro airport great girl.
