Jared and Kevin planned, kept track, watched out for us, pulled (one of) us off the city bus just in time, arranged 95% good weather, suggested restaurants and got us safely home. My husband and I just returned from our private Ireland and Scotland trip - and it was everything we had hoped for and more. I had reached out to a couple of different travel agents (as this was our first trip flying solo) and Jared at percussive was by far the most attentive and informative agent we met! It didn’t take us long to commit to the trip he designed. When I first reached out I gave him the destinations I absolutely wanted to see and the criteria that we wanted to do this on our own time (no group tours, etc.). From there, Jared worked his magic by customizing our itinerary to meet our needs. He then met with us twice before the trip to go through the details, answer all questions, and ensure our trip was what we wanted. While abroad, all destinations were aware we were coming - we never had any issues with the flights, hotels, car rentals, or excursions. Jared even called ahead to one of our destinations during the trip and booked reservations for dinner and breakfast. He knew it was going to be a long day and we’d arrive later that evening when their restaurant got busy. He also checked us in to our flights for us to ensure quicker processing times! Everything was perfect! We will be booking with Jared and percussive again very soon!

What a well planned Group Tour to Scandinavia (Norway, Denmark, Sweden, and Iceland) with Percussive Tours!! We did so much in such a well managed amount of time - and wanted for nothing. We asked Percussive Tours to help us plan an extended trip to France to celebrate our 25th anniversary. Rachel & Jared knocked it out of the park! We enjoyed the three hotels we stayed at, and the activities they planned. Our intinerary was busy yet still gave us time to breathe and enjoy our surroundings. We didn't have to worry about a thing. Percussive Tours are the best! Our 3rd trip with them was to Scandinavia. They scheduled so many wonderful experiences that we could never find on our own, the food recommendations never disappoint. Hint: If Jared starts dancing when talking about the food - go get some! You pick your activities (or not) so you pick your pace. If you always wished you could go, but were nervous about going, Jared and Racheal are with you to help you handle any situation. Get off the couch and go!

I used Percussive Tours for a trip to Ireland and Scotland in October and I would highly recommend them for travelers interested in using a travel agent! Not only was Jared very prompt to any email I sent (and I sent many, lol), he was also incredibly knowledgeable about the countries we were visiting as well as international travel in general, which was an absolute God-send for two people traveling outside of the country for the first time! Not being very experienced with international travel (and travel in general, to be honest), it was very reassuring to have someone who was to bounce questions, concerns, or ideas off of. Jared set up our entire itinerary after gauging our initial interests; I felt he really listened to our requests and planned our trip the most efficient way possible (not back-tracking through areas, hitting all the sights while traveling to our next destination, etc.) Having this itinerary was a huge stress-relief when it came down to our trip. I so appreciated not only the actual itinerary, but his suggestions and recommendations included for our downtime/rest days. There also were several instances while on our trip where urgent situations occurred (read: flat tire in a foreign country, lol) and we would have been lost without Jared to help us get roadside assistance. The last thing I was so appreciative of was the overall cost for our trip. I wanted to be as mindful as possible when planning two weeks in a foreign country! Jared was able to find flights directly out of Grand Rapids so we did not need to travel to Chicago or Detroit (which would have added to our overall cost), and the total for our trip was well over $2,000 less (for two people) than we anticipated. There are so many other places on my bucket list and I will definitely be using Percussive Tours in the future!
