The airport is recently remodeled and is empty. It is way better than most airport that I've been to. Give it a chance, don't knock it just because it's Oakland. I would definitely prefer to fly from here now.

This a great airport in the most convenient location in the Bay Area. More choices in Southwest flights than SF or San Jose. Kaiser has sponsored a nice remodeling of the lobby. The shops have lots of local food and merchandise. Hopefully the commission will give up in the silly name games and focus on improving the airport.

I recent used this airport to go visit my family. It’s very new, well kept and checking through TSA was fast and efficient even when line seemed a bit long. I will use this airport more often. I didn’t have high expectations and it did indeed exceed them. I’m glad I did try it and can’t wait to my next flight.

This guy right here when I was way, although the store was closing, he helped out a handicap. Man made the airport of five star review Oakland airport. Gotta give this guy kudos for all his hard work and all his recognition to help others due to their handicap position and willingness to help others to make the world a better place

Unlike Denver International Airport, they don't have the comfortable long chairs for you to lay down and rest during the trip, and the restroom not clean good enough.

I used to fly into the Bay Area at Oakland International Airport a decade ago. Now, I am back because SWA fares were lower than SJ and SF. I prefer Oakland International Airport anyway. I think Oakland is a beautiful city.
