Montgomery Airport is very small but also very clean and well organized. Everything is easy to find, from check-in to security to boarding, which makes traveling stress-free. The size of the airport actually works in its favor—less walking, quick lines, and a very straightforward layout. Overall, a pleasant airport experience.

I absolutely love this airport! Parking is never an issue. Check in is a breeze. Security checks quick and efficient! Best thing... you don't need to drive to Atlanta.

Montgomery Regional Airport (MGM), also known as Dannelly Field, is a small regional airport serving Montgomery, Alabama, and the surrounding areas. It offers a convenient and low-stress travel experience, primarily handling domestic flights through airlines like Delta and American, connecting passengers to major hubs such as Atlanta, Dallas, and Charlotte. The terminal is compact, clean, and easy to navigate, allowing for quick check-in, security, and boarding. Amenities include free Wi-Fi, charging stations, comfortable seating, and a few dining options like cafés and grab-and-go selections. Retail offerings are minimal but cover travel essentials and some local gift items.

This airport has 6 gates for American and Delta flights with 2 eateries on the gate side. Drop off and pick up is easy at the curb side with curb cuts and automatic doors. Ticket kiosks for both airlines are low and wheel chair accessible. Access to TSA is easy with one checkin lanes and 2 luggage scan lanes. This airport is easy to negotiate. Exit from gates 3-6 is via stairs to lower level near gates 1 and 2. All automatic doors throughout the airport. Several charging stations offer large table that is 6" higher than standard height. Rental car shops in the airport with cars across the main drop off/pick up point with large curb cuts. About 50-70 feet. Elevators are near escalators with good signage. All signage for gates, check in, baggage claim, and gates is large and readable. Background music is medium volume with mostly oldies and traditional holiday songs. This small airport is easy to negotiate.

The Delta staff that always checks us in at Montgomery Alabama are the nicest people I have ever met. They love their jobs and are extremely great knowing exactly what to do when checking people in They are awesome and extremely friendly. May our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ bless each of them.

A small airport lacking the crowds associated with the larger airports. And the security line was quick! Limited food and drink options, especially with early morning flights.
