I had a 7am appointment and I got there at 6:40 and there were already 20 people in front of me waiting to be let in. The reason I am posting is because the entrance is not as it shows on Google Maps. The entrance is of NE15th. Which is the same entrance to the garage. It is across the street from the Metrorail stop. They were fast and efficient to get the passport done in a few hours. There is a security screening almost at the same level of an airport - but less sophisticated. I made the mistake of bringing a backpack with my laptop and cables and that slowed my entrance down a little. Also I had printed my own photos - which I have used when mailing in the passport in the past - and thy had me go downstairs to get a new photo… and extra $27… oh well. Hopefully you learn from my mistakes

7.30 Appointment had my passport in hand by 10.30AM Very well organized and efficient friendly staff. Keep in mind you cannot enter without an appointment and it’s a roll of the dice on the earliest availability when you call the 1-877 number to get an appointment. But if you have all your documents and appointment and are on time, it’s a very smooth process. I had a 7.30AM appointment and was seen and left my paperwork by 8 AM. I got the text notification to pick up my passport by 10:14AM. I live across the street so I went immediately and had my passport in hand by 10:30. I recommend getting the earliest available appointment.

I had a same day in person appointment and to my surprise it was a very pleasant experience for me. My appointment was 7:30am. I got there before the time. While the exact appointment time isn’t honored, meaning they will not call you exactly at 7:30 because you have an appointment. The process was very quick. When i got in i joined the line, this line leads to them reviewing your application, confirming your appointment number and checking the passport picture. Next you go through security and after security you join another line ( which was short) to check in. I was given a number and advised to wait for my number to be called. While i was looking for a suitable seat, my number got called. The representative I saw was very polite and he took his time to explain what would happen next and gave the time to come back for my appointment. I was in and out within 40 mins. Of course I had to wait 5 hr to return for my passport but when i went back the process was very fast and they honored the time they gave me to return for my passport.

Great experience, everything was smooth and easy. All of the staff were very professional and respectful. I completed my application online and printed it out, which sped things up for me. I also made sure to have all the required documents printed and in hand when I arrived. I recommend making an early morning appointment, I had a 7:00 a.m. appointment and had my passport in hand before 1:00 p.m.

The website is your friend for this Passport Agency. Follow the directions on the website and you should have not problems. Do As The Website Instructs. What they don't tell you is anything about parking or waiting. You are going to the Omni Center which does have a parking garage attached to it. I had to drive around the block to figure out how to get into it. It was not cheap but no downtown parking is. I paid $15 for the first hour and $8 for the additional hours. Once you are processed you have to wait 2-3 hours for them to make your passport. I don't believe you can stay there during this time. We found a cute place down the street about .3 miles that we hung our at Sky Coffee Bueno Aires. If you have done what the website says you be be processed promptly and efficiently. I found the staff very efficient. There is a large security presence. I found the security very helpful when I asked them questions, just remember they have a job to do. A lot of people were sitting on the floor in the hallway (there are no seats available) waiting for their text. You cannot go into pickup your passport until you receive your text. They have a great big waiting room but will not let you use it. Knowing this information ahead of time is very helpful in planning your visit.
