I wish I would have read the reviews before I booked - thought since they were the only taxi company listed on the Quad Cities International Airport website that they would be professional. They drove me 7 miles to my hotel then charged $50. Unbelievable.

Max’s is great, the cab is clean the driver is friendly and the best part is I’ve had them before in Rock Island!! I used Jeff’s and they brought friends along and didn’t show, cha he’d me 95., and we picked his wife up from getting colonoscopy and they paid for my lunch and got groceries as I had accident in car and cleaned up!! A real expensive ride and they told me. That Jeff was very ill!! Don’t use Jeff’s go the extra mile and use Max’s!! Keep up the great service!! Thank U!!!

So, we were in town for a wedding and didn’t realize that rideshare essentially wasn’t a thing in Moline, IL (our bad for not doing our research). They said they exist but there aren’t a lot of them available. After checking with the folks at the airport, we learned that Max’s was the most “reliable” cab service in the area…particularly at 10:30PM. We see now that he chose his words carefully. He might have been reliable in terms of getting there but that’s about it. I will say, he arrived within 10-12 minutes of us making the call for cab. The cab ride itself was a little scary to say the least…he wasn’t the most courteous driver and seemed to be all over the road. He veered off to the side a couple of times. When we got to our hotel (literally 4 miles from the airport), the total was $40. Really?! For context, Uber rates (had there been one available) were $12.99 for that trip. He had the audacity to be looking for a tip as well. We did not. It seems like using this service might be unavoidable depending on when you get into town, but if you can avoid it at all, please do. Thankfully our hotel concierge said he would just take us to the airport in the morning (at 4:30AM), so we don't have to deal with Max again. Really bad experience.

Awful awful awful. The car smelled awful, very dirty, and EXTREMELY OVERPRICED. I paid almost 40 for a 0.4 mile drive. Should’ve just walked with my suit case. I would’ve been better off.

Never used him, but there were about 65 of us in from NYC for a wedding and we all avoided this guy because word-of-mouth is the company is horrible. Treat your customers right, you lost out on a ton of money because you haven’t :/. Just wanted you to know that word-of-mouth really does matter.
