I just completed my third marathon with Marathon Tours and Travel, and it proved to be as outstanding as the first two. The Big Five Marathon in Africa was very well organized and a terrific challenge. The fact that the race start was delayed by 15 minutes due to rhinos on the course and then another 15 minutes due to cheetahs just added to the atmosphere. Marcie at MTT was very helpful in making the arrangements. The accommodations at Conservation Lodge (formerly Hanglip) were outstanding and it was one of the best lodging experiences we've had. The team at Conservation Lodge were attentive, warm and friendly. The rangers got us next to lions, cheetahs, rhinos, giraffes and much more. Overall, it was another spectacular trip!

The camaraderie developed between the other members of the tour group and the guides during the trek was phenomenal.
