This is the most spectacular welcome center I have visited yet! It also incorporates a cultural center that house’s incredible molds and displays and dioramas of native history- reminds me of the natural history museum in New York! The head person (I believe her name was Vicky- sorry if I’m wrong) was so informative with fantastic suggestions and so very kind and welcoming. I really loved spending time here and spent about an over hour! The most I ever have at a visitors center. I left feeling enriched and excited for what I could further explore in the beautiful state (which is fast becoming my favorite). Maine really is the way life should be 💜🦞🐻🍁🌲

Tourist information as well as historical, cultural and wildlife information. Self guided tour is top notch including hands on for kids and a touch tank.

not sure if i have the right station but Scott was at the first visitors center in Maine from Boston . He was great and helped lay out our journeys to Bar Harbor , thanks scott

Small center but interesting. Very nice person gave us information and history. There is a rare lobster alive that was very interesting!

This is better than your average tourist drop by center. They have quite a bit of information and some interactive learning. I found it to be quite nice.
