Daniel J. at Chicago O'Hare airport with Lufthansa was amazing! He helped my disabled grandfather and family to get checked in, boarded, and get our luggage to the right place. He went above and beyond with such a nice attitude. He deserves recognition and a raise! Thanks Daniel J. :)

Chicago to Munich flight. Very slow with printing boarding passes. Boarding area and lines for boarding was a mess. Flight was leaving late but arrived earlier than scheduled.The flight was overbooked. Vegetarian food option on flight was not good. Staff on board was professional.

I travelled from chicago to Frankfurt and then changed flight to meet my husband in Düsseldorf. I received 1 cold and burned meal , with no choice . I called for the stewardess number of times for drinking but did not get it . The flight was long and the service was pathetic . It seems stewardess’s was not even happy to be working . The only good thing about the flight was I got a window seat and the middle seat was empty . I stretched myself and literally slept half the time . While flying back , it was different story altogether. I flew from düsseldorf to Munich . Wonderful service . 1 hour flight they gave snacks and drinks . I got an aisle seat . Then from Munich to Chicago , I got a window seat with the middle seat empty again . My good luck I guess . They gave us choices in meals . Served food twice , drinks number of times . It was very comfortable . Only , the lady sitting behind kept on calling me and saying that she cannot drink , eat or sleep because i was trying to incline my seat . first time , I gave her what she wanted . Stayed upright for 5 hours and let her sleep . Second time , when i wanted to sleep and she complained in the same way , i went ahead and inclined my seat halfway and slept . The last and final time when she called to tell me off , I specifically pointed her the passenger in front of me sitting and how her seat has been inclined all the time and i have not complained . She paid for her seats and the comfort . Then i went and told her , I will be lying down for a while and she can go ahead and complain to the cabin crew or whoever but stop talking or bothering about this . She went quiet after that . Overall , because the flight back was comfortable and up to the standard I will give Lufthansa airline a 4 star with room for improvement. Hope to travel with this airline in near future .

Lufthansa really struggled on our recent trip. Their app doesn’t work, is quirky and didn’t allow for us to check-in prior to the airport. Consistent delays. Service at baggage and at the terminal was spotty at best. Were told our luggage would be switched when we had to change airlines and wasn’t. Other than a $12 voucher, they were very unaccommodating.

Got to the airport(ORD) early and they had no one there to accept checked luggage.
