What a great experience at this airport. We notified them we were arriving a little late to go to one of their BBQ restaurants in town and they waited for us (after hours) and had a loaner car all ready to go. When we got back from the BBQ, as we were refueling the manager (older gentleman from Austin - don’t recall his name), brought us some cold water bottles (it was hot outside). Highly recommend this airport (and it helps fuel is a Great price)!

We had great service from the FBO M & M! They were friendly,helpful and accommodating. Our reserved courtesy car wasn’t available so the linemen gave us his car to go to lunch. We really enjoyed the original Black’s BBQ, and we put gas in his car.

My first time visiting Lockhart. I flew in with my family on a Sunday afternoon, without any prior notice. Upon arrival at the ramp, we were immediately greeted by FBO owner, Keith in his golf cart. He recommended his favorite bbq and asked if we required a courtesy vehicle. Unfortunately the courtesy vehicle had trouble starting. He handed us the keys to his own personal vehicle. We took it to town for the best BBQ we have ever had. Arriving back to the FBO, Keith greeted us yet again and he even handed me his business card upon learning that I was a CFI aspiring to be an airline pilot soon. What an amazing afternoon we had, all thanks to the services we received. Thank you Sir! We will be back for sure!

Flew into Lockhart yesterday with some buddies for BBQ. The experience couldn't have been better. We were personally met by the owner of the airport Kevin at the plane who gave us a warm welcome. Kevin picked us up on the golf cart and drove us directly to his car where he then offered to take us personally to lunch in his own vehicle. Love the Tesla BTW Kevin. What an awesome experience and WOW the BBQ, thanks for the hospitality. See you again soon!!!

What a great airport! Flew in on a Thursday and Keith met us at the plane with his golf cart. We had had a car reserved but missed picking it up due to our delay. Keith didn’t even hesitate and offered to give us a ride downtown in his personal car and then brought us back to the airport later after a delicious BBQ lunch. This is truly the BBQ capital. Keith was awesome and his love of flying really shows as we had some great conversations with him. If I could give 10 stars it would be appropriate. You just don’t find this kind of FBO anymore and the people really make this a must stop place. Thank you Keith.
