I would leave less stars if possible... I fly a lot on every airline for work and have never seen anything managed so poorly. It was a completely empty plane to Amsterdam... until you got to the tail section. Not exaggerating there are probably 50 people between the tail section and first/business but every row in the tail section is completely full. They announce over PA for everyone to remain in their assigned seat and after take off we would be offered to upgrade to an empty section for more room for a small fee. Absolutely poor and poaching practice on their customers.

Bad place to be!!! The restrooms are super dirty, the food is horrible, and the lady at the front desk has a horrible attitude. And makes a line outside where you waste time. The place is small and smells weird.

Keep coming back bcz the quiet place and the friendly people at the snack center. But the Asian hostess is a piece of garbage, always the same she will not help you to call a wheelchair. This is not the first time. Always same issue. I paid for a service when I need it, and coming just to see how she treats all it is a shame she still here. She is getting paid to receive and smile helping us with the travel routine. Managers are not available to complain directly and in front of her. Bad deal for Mom.

They canceled our flight delaying us getting home buy a day and half and then told us we didn't deserve compensation because we were not flying to an European address. They did reimburse us for the hotel and food but it's taken countless emails and it's over a month and still have not gotten paid yet. Also when they canceled our flight.. didn't really help us get booked (they tried to tell us they had but had booked us on 3 flights with our entry flight to the US having less than an hour between connections - everyone knows thats not enough time) and after 7 hours of standing in countless lines they finally rebooked us on a doable flight but the person who booked us looked almost bored and irate we were bothering him. In short - don't fly KLM unless they are paying you to fly cause your money can do better elsewhere.

As with all travel there will always be delays and cancellations. But I really like the customer service! All KLM employees are so helpful and kind. The lounge in IAH is somewhat small, and if you are hungry, I suggest you go to the few nice and relaxing restaurants in the terminal. The lounge is great for working on your computer with a drink and snack. The flight to Europe is just never ending long, but the airline does its best to make it very comfortable with a great selection of movies, good food, and great wine. Toilets are always clean (they are cleaned periodically). I love flying KLM home to Houston, they are the first international flight to come in so that the line at customs is not long yet. After KLM all other flights seem to come in all at once... I highly recommend chosing KLM for flying to and from IAH airport!

The lounge is one of the worst I've been to. Small and uncomfortable, kind of dirty, horrible food with no variety and bad attitude receptionist. If you are more than 5' away, don't even bother to go
