My first Jsx trip. Flew on weekend when there were hundreds of cancellations. It’s easy to check in and wait. Boarding was easy. We were on time with the flight. Plane was clean and comfortable. You definitely feel like you’re flying on a private jet. No need to get to airport too early. Seats on right side plane have a table to left of the seat (about $30 upcharge) and Look more comfy. I switched seats to accommodate a family and got the first seat. No place to store carry on and less leg room. Also only one carry on and two checked bags allowed. Slightly different from commercial.

Full disclosure, I've only used JSX twice but I can tell you they got my business. Airfare is a bit higher, but I can assure you, you get what you pay for. Showing up 20 minutes before the flight leaves and leaving out of an FBO, is fantastic. Waiting lounge has refreshments, very clean and their staff is great. Airplane has 30 seats on it, a ton of legroom and space and it's extremely clean. I've already booked three more flights with them. If you are in a market that has JSX, I would highly recommend.

Nice area to wait prior to boarding. Simple, straightforward and easy. It also removed approximately 1.5 hours from my normal airport slog. I'm a fan.

The only reason for 4 stars is because the waiting area was less than ideal. Does it beat traditional TSA and security at a large airport? Yes. There was a lack of options for drinks, just lukewarm coffee and warm water. The interior lights were not on in part of the waiting area and the bathrooms could’ve used a clean. As a first time JSX flyer, I was a little concerned based on the state of the lounge and what appeared to be some disorganization upon arrival/check in. However, the pilots and in-flight staff were amazing. Incredibly smooth flight and quick. There was a delay, due to one runway being open at Dallas/Love Field, which was out of JSX’s hands. The pilots made up for it in the air. The plane itself was clean and tidy, not to mention very spacious and comfortable. I’m already looking forward to my return flight home. Upon arrival at Dallas/Love Field I was greeted by a very nice JSX staff member, the lounge in Dallas is quite large, has clean bathrooms, and plenty of space…unlike Houston. Without a doubt, I’ll fly JSX again but y’all need to spruce up the staff and space in Houston because it makes a terrible first impression. I was low key trying to figure out if I could go jump on a SW or other flight at Hobby. I would give the staff the benefit of the doubt and maybe they were having an off day, which is okay. However, y’all can update/upgrade the space in Houston.

Great in flight experience. The time it took to get a ride share to the remote spot at Hobby ate into the time savings to fly JSX in the first place. Not sure if it’s worth it. Might try it again.
