Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport, located in Delhi, is India's largest and one of the busiest airports in Asia. Operated by Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL), it serves as a major hub for both domestic and international flights. Features: Connectivity: Offers direct flights to 153 destinations globally. I recently traveled through Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi and was genuinely impressed. The airport is modern, clean, and well-organized. The check-in and security processes were smooth, and signage was clear throughout, which made navigating the terminals relatively easy, even during busy hours. The terminal interiors are spacious and aesthetically pleasing, with plenty of seating areas and a good selection of food outlets and shops. The duty-free section is well-stocked, and there are quiet zones available for those looking to relax. One area where there’s slight room for improvement is the immigration process—it was a bit slow during peak hours, and the lines could have been better managed. Also, Wi-Fi connectivity was a bit patchy at times. Overall, a world-class airport that continues to improve with each visit. A solid 3-star experience! The Depart was awful this immigration officers think they owned the airport!

When I travelled through IGI Airport, I realized why people say it’s different from the rest. The moment I entered, everything felt organized and modern right from the quick check-in and DigiYatra gates to the smooth security process. The airport was clean, peaceful, and full of Indian art that actually makes you stop and admire it. The duty-free area was huge and had almost every brand I could think of. Even moving around was easy with clear signs, metro connectivity, and helpful staff. Overall, the whole experience felt premium, comfortable, and way better than many other airports I’ve been to.”
