Carol is a delight to work with! We were newbies to international travel and she planned our trip right down to the tiniest detail! She was organized and even when she was busy she took the time to answer our questions and address our concerns! We would recommend her to anyone traveling!!! We had such a fun trip!!!

My wife and I live to travel. We’ve hitchhiked through Egypt, backpacked across Europe, Scandinavia, Africa, and Asia, and even got married in Mexico. We’ve lived abroad (The Hague for a while), and my wife even spent a year living in Italy. So when I say we’re “seasoned travelers,” I don’t mean we’ve taken a couple of cruises (love our cruises). I mean—we’ve done the backpacker thing, the budget flights, the nights with no hotel booked. We’ve done it all. (And yeah, we’ve also made all the mistakes.) So when we started working with Holiday Planit, I honestly didn’t know how much we’d get out of it. But now, having done two big international trips through them—and seen how much time, stress, and energy they saved us—I honestly don’t think we’ll ever go back to doing it all ourselves. Our first trip was a dream route through Switzerland and Italy. We started in Zurich, just so we could ride the Bernina Express (which, side note, was absolutely worth it). Then we made our way through Turin, Milan, Venice, Florence, Rome, Naples, Pompeii, and finally landed in Sorrento on the Amalfi Coast. Every single train, transfer, hotel—handled. And the hotels? Not cookie-cutter. They actually felt like the cities they were in. You know that feeling when you walk into a place and think, yeah, this is exactly the vibe I was hoping for? That was every stop. I didn’t have to compare 30 hotel listings—I just showed up. Our second trip was Japan. We hit Tokyo, Mt. Fuji, Kyoto, Osaka, spent a couple of days exploring the World Expo 2025, and even added a day in Hiroshima last minute. That Hiroshima day? It reminded me what it’s like to plan on the fly (a thing we used to love but now kind of dread). I found myself trying to navigate Japanese train websites on my phone, translating error messages, realizing there were no more reserved seats… and thinking, why am I doing this again when Holiday Planit handled everything else so perfectly? That little hiccup actually made me even more grateful for the rest of the trip. They even upgraded our flights when they saw we weren’t seated together. We didn’t ask. They just… took care of it. (That kind of thing might not seem like a big deal, but it made my wife really happy, and that made the flight so much better.) What I love most is that working with them feels like you’ve got someone on your team who just gets it. They know the routes, the tricks, the better cities to fly into, where to stay, how long to stay, what trains are worth it. They’ve even recommended better travel options for places we’ve lived in. I used to love planning every leg of our trips. Now? (Honestly, I just don’t have the time.) I run a business, and my wife and I need our vacations to be actual rest. I want to spend my energy looking forward to the trip, not buried in a Google Sheet comparing train schedules and wondering if I forgot to book one night somewhere. Holiday Planit lets me do that. Also, worth saying: they don’t charge for their service. And if you give them enough lead time, they’ll let you pay over time—which makes booking big international trips feel way less overwhelming. Even my friend, who just booked his first-ever trip to New York, used them after I recommended it. He was blown away by how easy they made it. (Which made me feel pretty good, not gonna lie.) Next up, we’re thinking about trying one of their Greece cruises, or maybe the Oktoberfest cruise in Germany for 2026. If we’ve learned anything, it’s that letting Holiday Planit take care of the details means we can focus on the fun part—being in a new place together. I’m just so grateful to have found a team like this. If you’re in Reno or Sparks, or really anywhere, and you’re tired of wasting time on the booking process, do yourself a favor and try them. You might be surprised at how much energy you get back just by having someone else take care of it all. Thank you, Johanna, Irene, and everyone else we may have forgotten! You are all amazing! Travis & Lorena Still traveling. Just smarter now.
