I was so thoroughly impressed with the professionalism, care, and compassion from the HOT team (both logistics and on-the-ground). I experienced a near-fatal accident in July, which left me immobilized for 12 weeks. I shared updates with the team because I knew mobility (even with using a cane) might present some issues. They went above and beyond to accommodate me to ensure I was able to fully enjoy this experience. Shoutout to the best tour guide, Paloma, who was absolutely phenomenal and gave us the star treatment in Cuba! She is extremely knowledgeable, kind, and caring. She was such a gem and helped me navigate stairs around the city. This was such a worthwhile experience meeting locals who work hard to contribute to the fabric of their community. I had such a wonderful time on this trip that I’ve already booked my next excursion. Maybe I’ll meet you on the next trip!!

Heart of Travel is absolutely wonderful! We took a trip to Peru, where we hiked the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu. Everything was perfectly organized. Our guides, Wilmer and Charlie, were absolute top notch professionals. Wilmer knew EVERYTHING and he taught us so much, which Charlie took incredible photos so we could all focus on the hike. The food that the chefs prepared was delicious, fresh, and nourishing. We didn’t have one meal I didn’t love. We made new friends in the group, which was great. The porters…oh the porters…they were so helpful, so kind. All the hotels we stayed in along the way were well chosen. Honestly, I can’t say one bad thing. I highly recommend this company. Perfect from beginning to end, and we are so grateful for the memories we will always have. Thank you Heart of Travel!
