Took my day group to sit and watch the planes fly in and out. Very relaxing!

Don't count on the pilot courtesy car being reserved as scheduled in advance. Do plan on a shuttering transmission that leaves you feeling that you won't make it back. And I thought the adverturous part of the trip would be flying over the Rockies in a 172. Not the case. π Restaurant folks were very kind.

Greeley airport is a great little airport but if you are a pilot like we are, and fly into this airport just to go to the restaurant on the field called the Barnstormer then don't stop, fly somewhere else. My family and I stopped and had lunch or should I say tried to have lunch there but immediately left after we got our food due to their waitstaff. Any establishment who hires teenagers that feel or act like they are entitled should 1, fire the wait staff and 2, shut their doors for good. Any one in this business or any business for that matter should know - follow - and adhere to the 10 basic rules of customer service, which did not happen. 1. Be nice 2. Respect your customers (this did not happen) - customers are the reason businesses are open. If customers are not treated with respect, people stop coming. Respecting your customers also means DO NOT ARGUE with your customer, that's bad business. 3. Listen - (got my order wrong along with my sons order but blamed us) 4. Be positive (rude teenagers) 5. Offer solutions, not excuses (never offered just blamed us) 6. Be honest (not this wait staff) 7. Go the extra mile (not this wait staff) 8. Apologize (not this wait staff - would rather blame the customer) 9. ask for feedback 10.. Say "thank you" - never got to that point as we walked out.
