This review is long overdue. If I could add five more stars for Kelly Jo Rodriguez, I would! A planned Family Cruise of my husband and I along with our three children, their spouses and significant others along with a grandson was booked in 2019 for sailing in 2020. Well, we all know what happened with travel plans for that time period - 2020 became 2021, a new grandchild arrived, 2021 became 2022, military orders prevented one Family Member from travelling so rescheduling was necessary. 2023 became the definite cruise date and then life interfered. Family matters made it necessary to totally cancel the cruise in early 2023. Throughout this entire journey of planning, Kelly Jo was right there. She was always professional and kind. She never showed irritation and she was always knowledgeable, pleasant and helpful. I later learned that Kelly Jo was dealing with a devastating Family situation during this entire time-period but she never let that affect her professionalism. When she was informed of the need to cancel the cruise, she was sympathetic and she did everything she could to assist me. Although this trip didn't occur because the Fates seemed to be against us, a version of it will occur barring more bad luck. When the time comes to plan that trip, Kelly Jo will definitely be the Travel Planner I turn to for our Family needs. Kelly Jo, I thank you from the bottom of my heart - you are a true Travel Professional.

I have lived and traveled all over the place and recently had a rather convoluted travel schedule I needed help with, as I couldn't seem to get the right connections I needed to be a stress free trip :) Kelly Jo with Alaska Travel Source was- and is - AMAZING! She gave me so many options for everything I needed and was very responsive to all my questions. I HIGHLY recommend this wonderful company. Even when we retire and leave Alaska, I plan on using Kelly Jo and Alaska Travel Source for our trips. Hands down-THE BEST.

I originally contacted Alaska Travel Source to arrange for international travel last year. Their service was absolutely excellent and all went seamlessly. When I recently needed to make last minute domestic travel arrangements I contacted them again, and within minutes they were able to arrange a multi city travel itinerary. I have spent hours in the past online, in attempts to make complicated travel arrangements. - It is a huge relief to be able to call Alaska Travel Source, list out my requirements and know that they will make all the necessary arrangements for me, and that I will have results in a timely fashion. I found all of their staff to be very responsive, and would highly recommend them to anyone making travel plans.

I traveled to Ireland by myself. Never had traveled out of the U.S. much less alone so I was a little nervous. It went as smooth as silk thanks to Sally's help and arrangements. You not only get the reservations you need but you get a gazillion tips on traveling particularly for your destination. And they are so friendly to work with. Like your own best friend!!

Bill Beck at Alaska Travel Source was great on the phone, but I don't think he took notes. He'd regularly send information to the wrong e-mails and call the wrong people. This caused all sorts of problems and scheduling issues. I think he lied about a booking as well. He told me he couldn't book a dinner because it was too soon, but I called and booked the same day. I would never use Alaska Travel Source again, because Bill is an owner and you can't go over him to get your issues resolved.
