Only because the system doesn't allow ZERO STARS. The customer service is an atrocity with no attempt to assist with errors on their part. The low initial price is not worth the feeling that no one is there to help you. They abandon the front desk seemingly to intentionally cause lost seats. In my case they left no room for their own technical difficulties but would gladly rebook me on another flight at my expense. Horrid representative even argued that I was late and was not aware of my timezone and she was in fact wrong again. Did she adjust or apologize? Absolutely not. DO NOT FLY FRONTIER. They are not in business because they give a flying flip about customers.

I paid extra for a carry on but only brought a personal bag with me. When I got on the flight in “zone 1”, there was a lot of overhead bin space. I placed my bag up there and sat down, but five minutes later, an attendant was passing me the bag and “asking” me to put it under the seat. I explained that I didn’t have a carry on bag, had paid extra for the carry on, and was placing my bag in the bin AS my carry on. The attendants told me they’d see if they could find space for it at the end of the flight, that they were trying to accommodate “everyone”, and to be patient. I contacted Frontier’s customer support via chat and they told me they wouldn’t be able to refund my bag fee and to talk to an agent once I landed. I asked what the agent would do since they weren’t refunding the fee and because I’d have to fly the entire flight with the uncomfortable bag in front of my feet. The chat ended abruptly.

They will not check in bags even though paying passengers are standing at the desk waiting for someone. Several Frontier employees walked by but would not come over even after attempting to catch their attention. Do not pay for checked baggage for your flights on frontier as they will just refuse to assist. Frontier nickels and dimes for everything but doesn't pay people to provide what you paid them for.

I’m really disappointed with this airline. They charged me an extra fee just to bring a small carry-on bag — something that should be included in the ticket price. It wasn’t clear when I booked, and I only found out at the airport. This kind of hidden fee feels dishonest and makes the travel experience frustrating. I won’t be booking with them again, and I’d recommend checking baggage policies carefully before purchasing a ticket.

Would give a zero star if I could. Flight delayed...gave notice of delay at 8 am for a 545 pm flight. Then cancelled with no notice. No compassion from staff at gate. At least staff at counter down at check in where more friendly and helpful. Some people on same flight were told the earliest they could get on another flight was four days later. Always have problems flying Frontier, but wife wanted to give them another chance. Enough is enough will never fly this airline again.

On our return home from Vegas, my sister and I were traveling together on the same flight. They made a mistake and had 2 different boarding gates on each of our tickets. We had to keep asking someone which gate we were to go to. AND our flight was not on the departure board for us to check. We had no way of knowing where to go. We asked several agent to help us, and they had no clue! We finally asked someone who brought wheelchairs to us, and she said our flight was already boarding. She and another worker hurry us to the correct gate. We almost missed our flight.

I arrived at the gate 15 minutes before departure, but the agents had already closed the door 20 minutes early and refused to let me board — despite the fact that my entire family was already on the plane. There was no attempt to help, no alternatives offered, and no explanation other than, “The door is closed.” Because of this, I missed my flight and was forced to purchase a new ticket at more than triple the original cost. On top of that, I had to fly out on a different day because there were no remaining flights to my destination. To make matters worse, one of my earlier flights was canceled before the trip even began, and Frontier provided no refund, no compensation, and no customer support. This entire experience was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. I will never fly Frontier again, and I would strongly advise others to consider a different airline.
