It has been a while since I've been here. I took my kids here about 30 years ago for an event they had. The kids were able to check out the planes and received a cert for a knowledge test they gave. This time, I came to the Cafe with my Dad and sisters. It was a good time. I had the chiliquiles, which were tasty. The menudo, chicken fried steak, and nopales were also good. The staff was friendly and smiles on all of them. Overall, it was a good time. They also have a small playground for the kids with a few static displays and statues past aviators. Pretty cool.

Flabob Airport is a historical airfield and a fun place e to visit. Several vintage planes are on display as well as special exhibits displaying interesting aviation history. There is a nicely appointed play ground for kids right next to the great cafe. In addition to the airport, there are several businesses in some of the old hangers. An aviation mechanics school is also located there. The entire property is well maintained. Throughout the year, there are special events, air shows, and other fun things to attend. Note that it is a working airport for small planes and private pilots who will fly in for lunch and talk about flying. It's a fun place to drop by, have a great burger and enjoy the aviation history that is very much alive there.

Events are always fun here and this weekend did not disappoint! If you missed the Grand Encampment you will not want to miss the next one in March!! There was so much historical knowledge, amazing props, food and people!! Whish I had pictures of the different camps and war trenches... will update in March!

First the airport is run off of donations Second they have kool planes Third the whole airport is clean with plenty of parking. Forth the hanger area is plentiful They just held a hotrod show with thousands of people . Went off without a problem Thank you flabob airport

Cool little airport... good restaurant it's like a time capsule with a bunch of old planes/buildings/hangars and several DC3'S home based there, all in airworthy condition !
