I had booked a flight and car for myself and my family only to realize that the departing location was wrong so I called customer service and spoke with a live agent named Abbey he had assured me that he could cancel my previous reservations and book new ones for me and I will receive a refund for the previous reservations however I noticed the refund did not hit my account so I proceeded to call Expedia back only for them to tell me that I needed to contact frontier and I was confused because I booked through Expedia. When I called frontier they told me that I needed to call Expdia because the booking was through them so I was back and forth between both parties and realized that this was not going anywhere so I reached out to my bank to see if they can help me so now they are involved and I am waiting for a resolution. I would never use Expedia again nor would I recommend them to anyone.

My wife and I booked a fully refundable trip to Bermuda on Christmas 2024. We have now had to make the tough decision to cancel our trip due to a new home purchase. Today we found out from Expedia that we will not be getting our refund of $1300 for our flights and will be given an airline credit that must be used by Christmas 2025. After explaining to multiple customer service agents that we will not be able to plan any travel before the end of year AND we chose the fully refundable option when booking, we’ve been told that this is our loss. The lingo they put in their contracts is very deceptive and meant to steal your money. Do NOT book with them and go for the fully refundable option as it’s not full refundable. Their own agents even agreed that the system is misleading. Horrible experience. 0/10. Do not recommend.

Worst customer service. They don't care once you book. You have no rights and forget about getting any help from them. They leave you hanging in the middle and offer no support. The only thing they say is it's the airline fault. But if we booked with you, why we can't get any support. I spent almost 4k for an international flight, and they left my family stranded in New York because the rest of the flight was canceled, and I had to find a way to get them back home to Phoenix. Would not recommend should pay a little xtra and go thru the airline directly. At least you will have some peace of mind

horrible they went down drain since they were bought, i booked a car in Orlando. i go to be surprised that i had to pay $1550 instead of $660 my original price. and when i refused expedia refused to help and they said they will reimburse me $30 to use in my next trip what a shame.

Trip from hell. I completed my check in online so I could go right to my car when I flew in. Thrifty had a sign, closed see hertz. They wanted 2 photo I'd I only had my real ID on me. I had to get a manager. I paid for the whole car rental as well as all the insurances the rental car company still held an additional 500.00 of my money. I was almost stranded at the airport. When I returned the car it had a ding on it from I guess a rock hit while driving down the road. Because I booked it through expedia the rental car company didn't see the insurance so now I have to file a claim with the insurance company and reimbursed for the damages. Thank God it was only 285.00 can you imagine if I had an accident. My connecting flight home changed gate and the airline sent me an email my seat changed I went on expedia and all it said was all checked in. I missed my flight home . The airline took care of me Thank God but I had to wait another 4 hrs. Next time I will book directly with the rental car agency and directly with the airport
