Engine has been very beneficial for my job. Easily finding the hotel i need and offering several types of rooms and prices so I can book what is needed. Customer service is always quick to handle any issues that might arise at the hotel. They are always listening to what the customer wants or needs and making improvments.

They have a hard time taking 'no' for an answer and they're employees seem over worked or distracted. The setup and quote process through our website, The Knot, was extremely quick and simple! So that was great, but there was a 2 night minimum stay (that wasn't included in the original proposal) which didn't make sense for our guests so we decided not to move forward with the room block. I was working with Marni, she said she would call me on a Friday afternoon to confirm what we wanted to do and she never called. Then texted me Monday morning saying "I never heard back from you" .. I responded saying we didn't want to move forward and she replied saying she understood but still tried to give me other options. I thought it was done. Then she emailed me the next morning saying our room block was "almost done being finalized and she'll let me know as soon as she's done working on it" ?? I emailed back saying we told her yesterday we don't want the room blocks and why is she still working on it, and she stated she was waiting for my final decision...? Like I didn't actually mean what I said yesterday. I was very direct in my responses and felt they were dismissed so that was a little frustrating.

Engine takes great care in supporting my business travel goals. I love the individualized attention I get from my account representative, and customer support has always been exceptional. I have one bit of feedback regarding hotels in the app. I am seeing more AI photos and I think they are misleading and inaccurate. I would like to see Engine require actual property photos of each participating hotel.

Love the system. I book several times a year for my crews and it is extremely convenient to have things searched and booked within minutes. When I have an issue with a hotel or my schedule changes, Flex helps out and makes the changes easy.

Unfortunately, Engine was linked on the wedding website that I recently attended, and I used it to book my hotel room. Don't make the same mistake as I did! For the same exact room, my cost was 65.00 higher than guests who booked directly with the hotel. When I asked at the front desk, they said they would be happy to drop the cost to a more competitive amount, but could not since I booked using Engine. Engine's customer service was of no help. Here is a partial copy and paste of their response: 'This difference is due to the additional charges we include to cover the services we provide, such as facilitating the booking process and offering customer support, as part of running our business'. So as you can see, book directly with the hotel to avoid these extra costs and fees. There is absolutely nothing that they did for me that would constitute paying the extra.

We were planning a wedding and were excited to use this site to get pricing for blocking rooms at hotels instead of having to call each one. I am not sure if the usage of the site has grown faster than the company could keep up, but out of 4 hotels we only received one quote. We had a person who emailed saying she would be helping us along the way, but she too, just could not get results. I called all 4 hotels on my own. Took about 15 minutes to get answers and pricing for all four. We waited around over two weeks from the engine request. It just is not as convenient and quick as it claimed.
