The airport is super super tiny with little to no signage. We had a hard time figuring out how to turn in our car rental. Then we go into the airport and the Allegiant staff needed to touch every single bag. They were upcharging people left and right saying bags were not the right size. There is a snack bar in this airport with chips and popcorn. Eat ahead of time. Sad to see so many seniors that were on the ground and on couches repacking their luggage. Did not seem to be very friendly and kept saying it is policy, it is policy. We travel often and have never experienced this type of staff on any Allegiant flight. This would be my last resort airport. Extremely slow security process. 2 hrs was barely enough time to be early to get thru security and Allegiant .

We lost all our money for flights and had to have daughter drive 60 miles back to pick us up. The terrible stress on us and anger has taken a toll. Unbelievable . We have never in all the years of flying down and back to our Fl. home with our cat on Allegiant at Niagara Falls, Rochester, or Punta Gorda had a problem. New reservations now booked and more money spent.

The TSA machine is slower than a snail. The only thing keeping them alive is their cheap prices which isn’t even worth it anymore. I wish I could give 0 stars. In the photo provided everyone in the line was on the same flight and took almost an hour to get through. the other 30 mins was spent at the check in line watching them charge 3 people for oversized bag when they weren’t oversized the bags just couldn’t stand up on its own. I was an hour and a half early for my flight and got through just in time to get on the plane. This is the very last resort. Please be sure if you take Allegiant through Elmira go with nothing in your bag and show up more than 2 hours early. Also there is no food there. The restaurant is always closed and only a snack bar.
