Very clean airport, security was nice! Always easing coming and going through here! They have really improved the airport while remodeling and making it better! We love using the airport frequently as it is easy to get in quick and on a flight. Nice, clean restrooms with good food options, coffee and drinks to get while here

Anybody else feel small regional airports are more friendly? Yeah me too. . I just did two big airports to get back and can say definitely Eastern Iowa keeps it's airport in better shape. Just small details. But it feels "nicer". Edited to include a previous post: Changes, good changes. CID is getting world class. Beautiful more streamlined security area leads to spacious jet ways. Food selection seems better too

This airport was not crowded either time, coming in or leaving. Got my rental car pretty quickly after I arrived. The baggage claim is right next to rental cars. Departing from the airport was easy. Able to drop off quickly, and TSA was fast. Early morning departure still had coffee places open. And a gift store. Very clean airport.

I've used this airport many times over the past 30 years for family, friends, and my own travel. It continues to improve. The entire facility seems bright and newly remodeled. Arriving or departing is made easier at every point along the way. Short-term parking is close to the main entry and there is an underground walkway to minimize exposure to inclement weather. The seating area has all new furniture. There are abundant power outlets and charging ports. As of July 2023, the TSA area seems expanded and new.

Small but well kept airport. This airport is always clean, and the staff are always friendly. This airport was updated in the last decade and now has a much more modern feeling.
